Thank you for the nice compliment on the rural Oregon chapel. It didn't look like it's currently being used, but someone is definitely maintaining it and the grounds. My thoughts at the time were more in the line of wondering how many Sunday ice cream socials had taken place on the lawn, fried chicken/potato salad dinners, weddings, funerals, and "everySunday" life. Lot's of history there, no matter how you slice it. I'm pleased you enjoyed the image. Thank you. Steve
Hi Mary, thank you for liking and commenting on "Elegant Pink"! It is very kind of you. I hope you stop by for another visit!! WELCOME to Caedes! I hope you enjoy all the nice people you will meet, as much as I have!! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks for the nice comment on the 2nd view of the little chapel. It was taken on Valentines Day. We had a light dusting of snow, and the roads were icy. I happened to have that Monday off, and knew there would be virtually no traffic, so it was a slow and careful, but quite scenic drive. Very enjoyable. Thank you for the continued interest and support of my work. I very much appreciate it. Steve
The factory of the future will have two employees, a man and a dog. The man will be there to feed the dog and the dog will be there to keep the man from touching the computers.
Hi Kansas, hi Mary ! B.J. and I are glad to see you liked "Selma & Louise" . I captured these swans near the centre of Stockholm, Sweden last weekend.B.J did a wonderful job with the framing. Have a look at "Swedish Swan" too ! Thanks for commenting.
G'day Mary. Thanks for your nice comment on "Golden Gazania" It's very much appreciated. These flowers were originally from South Africa but have since moved from peoples gardens and flourished on roadsides and parks here in Western Australia. Cheers Al.(ps. I love the name of your town).
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Hi Mary, WOW, you made it sound better than me! I think I will make some vanilla pudding, Ha! Thanks for your comments on "Garden Party" Mary. I really appreciate it! Have a happy day, and please stop by for another visit! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks for the comment on In My Garden 2. Much appreciated.. Mom bought a grab bag of bulbs and I planted them. This is one of the daffodils that came up. It is rather different.
Thanks, I am so glad you liked my Potted Pink. The flowers are so bright. I tried to tone them down a little, but they lost all the "pretty" so, I left them as the were ,right from the camera..
Hi Mary...thank you so much for your nice review and high marks on Slip Sliding Away...very glad you liked it...don't mind me and the puns...it's just something I do sometimes when I don't know what else to say...thanks again...much appreciated.:Pat.
Hi Mary. It was good of you to drop in on "Found Among The Reeds," my butterfly (moth?) photo. It's a great feeling to get a shot of these elusive beasts, and to hear that others like it as well is very gratifying.
Hello Mary. I saw your comment on my “Wash Away My Sins” photo, and it’s gratifying to see that you enjoyed it. I visit this park often to try to find new images, and on the morning we see here it was raining (a frequent visitor to New Orleans). I almost left the park, but instead set up my tripod and umbrella, and tried tyo get a few images. I’m glad I did.
Mary;
I am very humbled by the fact that you took the time to view my entire Garden of the Gods series. I sometimes feel that I make these series too long. Thank you also for taking the time to leave your comments they are very important to me.

Hello Mary. I just want to say thank you for your comments about “Irresistible”. I didn’t think to print it on textured paper but now you’ve given me the idea I just might have to try it.

Mary I'm pleased you liked "Spring in the Klickitat River Gorge". It is indeed a magical place. That is where I go each spring to photograph humming birds on their migration to higher elevations.
A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

Hi Mary, and thanks for your kind comments on Maine Sky with Eiders. This was taken on the day we left...after a solid week of clouds, high winds and rain. I posted it mainly to remind me that we did see a little spring up there. Mother Nature had some angry moods for most of our stay!

Mary,
Thank you very much for stopping by and smelling the wild flowers in my , Springtime in the Rockies image. I really love the area around Crested Butte. Should you ever get to Colorado this is a must visit area. Someday when I find the time I will break out some mountain lakes images that I have above this beautiful little village. I think that you may have convinced me to do a series about those Schwinn bikes, Maybe in late July or early August

Hello Mary, hope you will forgive me, but this message is pretty well canned and much the same for everyone who responded to my image “Natures Symphony". I’m stuck in a very tight schedule at work and have been putting in as many as 35 hrs overtime each week for going on a month now. Even though this is a generic thank you, it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate each comment, it’s just that I have very limited time and not enough of it to respond individually. For all that asked particular questions, I will try to leave an answer at the end of this post. For those who left comments some time ago, please accept my apology for being so late in responding.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT OF MY IMAGES .IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME.
Thank you for your comment on Glen in Yosemite. ‘Sorry it took me so long to reply, but I have just discovered how to post to other members. It’s a pleasure to be part of this great group of people. Judy
Hi Mary, (I Wonder) was taken right after a powerful storm passed through our town, i was the most amazing sky i have ever seen, i had to drive about 3 blocks to take this shot, i forgot my tripod and missed several shots from blurring. Well you can't win them all. I would like to thank you for your nice comments and support. Dwight.

Mary.
Thanks for the very nice comment about my; Calm Before the Storm image. It is a wonderful feeling to be alone in the elements. I don't have a clue what causes it. Maybe it's the O zone. Whatever the reason I am very late with a response to your comment. For that I am sorry. After a had day of creating images I usually do not have the time to answer all of them.
