Thank you for the comment and faving "In love with the moon". It was a lucky shot, cause I was looking at the beautiful moon and then I percieve the birds, another way I would not see them also! lol Have a very very nice day!
Thanks Mud for faving Abandoned and also for the words of encouragement. Guess maybe I am acting childish but I can't seem to change that right now. The length of time a person has been your friend doesn't matter as long as they are your friend now.
Hi Michaela, thanks for your comments on "Theodore Too". Glad you enjoyed the view. That 'weird crossy thing' is used to signal shipping traffic; flags are raised on it to communicate with incoming and outgoing vessels. For another view of the lighthouse look for the photo called Georges Island in my gallery. Have an enjoyable day and great weekend, ~Wendell

Hi Michaela and thanks for commenting on "Moonlight on the Red Planet." One thing for your assistant to consider is, is this red planet in our solar system? After all, this red planet has vegetation which I believe Mars does not. So, for me, the fun part of this picture is to accept that it isn't part of a reality we are all aware of. But, then, again, it may be. That which strikes our senses first, is not always the truth. lol. ~~ your friend John

Thanks, Michaela, for your comment on, "Don't Come Any Closer Buddy". I do not thick he would have hurt me. He was just trying to protect his little flock.
Gatlinburg Tennessee" is not always peaceful. In the summer and fall it is a very busy filled with tourists. I usually visit in the winter and early spring when it is quiet. The highest mountain in the picture is named Le Conte. Thanks for your great comment Michaela!

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick.

Thank you Michaela for your nice comment on my village photo 'Balıklıova' and adding it to your favourites. Here it is seen in a long distance. But I couldn't take shots in the village because it was already dark when I leaved.

Hi Michaela, thanks for the comments on "Gliding By". For the record it's one nice lady and her grandkids. Would you believe the bench was what I was trying to shoot when the canoe silently slid into the frame, honestly. Have a marvelous day, ~Wendell
