well Rob if I look to the temperatures overhere I think we skip spring and go right into the summer because it is here around the 25 degrees each day instead of 13-15 degrees (i don't mind) and that is not good for nature, so thanx for your lovely words on -I promised-:))
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Thank you Rob for taking the time to view and comment on my Forest Dreams image. It was taken at the same location as my Mountain Stream Beauty 2 image. I appreciate your support of my image.

Thanks Rob for the nice comments on my 07 Yellow Rose image. I'm glad you liked it and I appreciate your support. The drought in this area has been rough on the flowers. The little hopper is a katydid nymph. There was some tweaking done in photoshop.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hello Rob! Thanks for your comment on my Green Natural Fractal image. This is an old image reloaded at the request of Samatar. Somehow it got deleted. It's ornamental Kale.

Thanks Rob for viewing and commenting on my Starrs Mill image. This was done with a series of layers. The color was adjusted and one layer was converted to an infrared b&w image with blurring and the fish was another layer. Glad you like it. It's the same place I photographed a few years ago. This was taken this week.

Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on my "Fixer Upper."
Just as an f.y.i. ... I used Phil's (aka philcuk) tutorial on replicating HDR to achieve some real depth and clarity in/on the image, and then added the colourations as well.
Don't accept the default settings ... play around a bit and you might be surprised at the end results. I am quite pleased with incorporating and using his technique.
That aside ... thanks again. You more or less sum up my thoughts too, when I look at that image. Something undefinable ... yet, in a word ... still quite 'beautiful' to my eyes.
Glad I had the foresight to look ahead ... of course, knowing the gentleman that you are is what prompted me to do so.
Re: "Autumnal Face: At Mountain Lake" and "He loves me ... "
I have created some works in the past in the mediums of watercolours and india ink, and that manipulation technique is very reminiscent to my eyes of the results of blending the two.
Think that is part of my fascination with doing them.
And but of course, made that much easier for me when I start off with some great photos.
So, thank you from myself ... and I have to give proper credit to Jerry and Pat for having produced these fine photos in the first place.
Glad that they could catch your discerning eye, as your opinion comes bearing some weight behind it.
Thanks again Rob ... for taking the time, I sincerely appreciate it.
