Welcome to Caedes Nese:-) I really appreciate the feedback you left on Inverted Globe. The numerous copies of the same background was the eyecatcher for me too. Have a great time here. Thank you:-)
I invite you all to take a look at the rest of my photos on my yahoo site. All the pictures are about who I am, what I like and what I do. Some fun stuff to see.
sports, local rockstars and jam sessions, nature at its finest and the art of photo editing.

Hello Nese;
Welcome to Caedes, I hope you enjoy your stay and all of the many fine artists here.
As for me: I would like to thank you for your comments on "Foggy Mt. Rainier Sunrise from Reflection Lake" I took your advice and perused your website and I must say, it's very impressive.
.
The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always move. This is the artist’s way of scribbling “Kilroy was here” on the wall of the final and irrevocable oblivion through which he must someday pass.

Hi Nese...thanks for stopping by on Wallpaper...glad you liked it and found it a logical idea like I did, lol...this image has been on the site for quite some time now and it's funny how something simple like this still gets attention...I appreciate your visit.:Pat.
Hello Nese;
Thanks for the comments on "The Massif:. Deeply appreciated. The Painted Hills are a very spectacular place. As the day moves through it's cycle, the entire mood can and does change.

Hello Nese! Tks again for your comments on Chrysanthemum! Yes the blue sky makes a lovely background, as does black velvet I have learned here in Caedes.

Hello Nese, Thank you for your supportive comments about “Gidgit”. I think fame has gone to Gidgit’s head, she’s taken to jumping the gate then knocking on the front door.
Hi Nese, thank you for your comments on "Delicate Delight"! It is interesting that you mentioned the green gamma added, the contrasts are very natural. I made no adjustments! Thank you again and I hope you stop by for another visit! Sincerely, Marilyn

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
tks Niece to comment on my work.
let me welcome u to caedes.net.
To answer your question properly, I would have to be somewhere else, doing God knwos what!
the composition is striking, in a complex way, i think. maybe...

Hope you are well...
Hi Nese! I'm glad you liked "Passionate". Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on it....I really do appreciate that! Pretty flower, huh? I was amazed to find it where I live....looks like a tropical plant where there is plenty of humidity. I live where the summers are 100+, low humidity. So far the clippings are still alive but no roots yet.
Hi Nese! I have no clue about potty training. Thankfully my baby was already trained when we got her. She did put everything in her mouth though! I have a hole in my favorite bag and in the drapes to prove it. And she would put bugs in her mouth, too! Must be a shih tzu thing. She grew out of the chewing at around age 2 or so, but at 14 she's still going strong with the bugs. I got a dog training book once, and the only command it said shih tzus could learn was 'sit'. That has proven to be about right. They're lovable, but definitely not obedient. I look forward to seeing more pics of cute little Ozzie!
Thank you for your nice comment on Fern. I do like those "babies" too. It seems to me that they don't belong here, on Earth. So alien -looking they are.
Hi Nese, tks so much for your comments on Pea Pod!
No room for a garden this year, so I have planted some flowers, can't wait for some new blooms!

Hi Nese! Thanks so much for your comments on "home Sweet home". This house is sorta off the beaten path and someone threw a lot of time and money into the restoration. It really is a gem.
Hi there Nese...so glad you liked ~cardinal color~. They are my faovrite birds at my feeder :) I appreciate you taking the time to view/comment on this image. It is much appreciated! Thanks :))
Thanks for your nice comment on Temptation 2.. I wish I could claim credit for that garden.. It is actually about 8 blocks from my house.. The owners are wonderful and let me take as many pictures as I want.. I am always welcome to come and wander their lovely gardens..
Nese, do you have any Italian relatives on the East Coast? Nese is our family name, but when my great grandfather came over from Italy, he became Nese from Nisi because he didn't dot his I's.
Hi Nese, many thanks for stopping by and viewing my work! Especially for "Quiet Little Stream"!! Out door shooting is really not my long suit, but I have convinced myself I must continue to try!! One must diversify, right! You are indeed welcome and please stop by for another visit, I would enjoy that! Sincerely, Marilyn
Please forgive the long delay in answering your comments about my, Solitude Reworked image. This is my busy season and I am rarely home long enough to answer all of the wonderful (and not so wonderful) comments left by everyone. I want to thank you for your kind words and visit to my Solitude and hope that your stay brought you a calmness that I felt as I photographed it.

every time I come back here Im missing at least two more photos. Its very discouraging.
Im afraid to upload and ask my friends and family to come to this site to see pictures that arent there. its embarrassing. dont think I'll ever make it to two pages. *sigh* am I not good enough? is Ceades trying to tell me something? do they want me to go away? hmmm wouldnt know why. I THINK I do good work. Its been a lil tough to keep up with because of summer and all. again... hmmm. not sure what to do at this point. I see ppl with up to 4 and 5... 10 pages. prolly more. I cant even get it up to one. photos that I uploaded about two weeks ago are already taken off. Im sad about Ceades now.
Im curious how... A flaming peony, a sleeping Tiger, Two female house finches having lunch, a cardinal snacking with a sparrow. a mourning dove on the roof top, a sweet lil shi tzu, A kissing fish, two Bison relaxing in the hot sun, a close up pony with his momma, peek a boo lily and many more.. are concidered snap shots in comparison to the ones I have up. in comparison to the ones Ive seen up on others profiles. I have lost at least 12 photos in the past two months. I guess from what I am hearing, " I have some progress yet to be made in my craft." heh the only thing I can conclude from this is that Im not good enought to be on Ceades. I'll use the word "discouraged" again. Thanks for your quick response to my concern Mr. Ceades. at least I didnt have to wait to find out why.
I have other sites with my work. http://spaces.msn.com/members/IamTheWolfChild/ that my friends and family can go to. However, it was nice to be able to send my father here to see my work and read the nice comments people have to say. I put alot of effort into my work. Take a look at my other site to see what has been deleted and not good enough for this site.
When I started here I was very excited to find such an awesome site to belong to. finally a place where I can see how people feel about what I do. I have many photographer friends that I have sent here and that have put up there own profiles. I understand that Ceades has alot of profiles and photos to deal with. Im sure it takes up alot of space. I will say again that I have seen profiles with up to 10 pages of photos. I cant even get up to one full page. up until now it has been very rewarding. I almost feel like Ive been shot in the foot.
Is it a matter of time now b4 Im no longer welcome? if so tell me and I'll go away.
There was a time when I thought I was good enough. It doesnt feel like a gentle reminder that Im not.
Hey hey! Don't be so discouraged! You've only been here a couple of months. Give it a bit more time! I mean as you well know, since you are much more experienced then I am, that people are subject to their own opinions, their critcism is just a slight proding that what you can do can be better. When I get a B on a test I just tell myself: Always room to improve. A bit cliche-ish but it helps.
