Thank you, Romane, for taking the time to comment on "Spring is Here!" I am flattered and humbled, and very happy that you liked my spring pic. Thanks again!

Hi Romane, nice to hear from you!! Thanks for commenting on "Heavenly Charm"! I really enjoy doing the floral shots, but don't quite feel confortable doing outdoor shots yet, maybe over time, that will happen.. I still remember when you, as well as others encouraged me to branch out and while I appreciated it, it would still seem to me that I need a good deal of time and practice yet, Ha! Did you enjoy the BBQ? Sincerely, Marilyn
Romane, thanks for your comment on Marsh at Dawn 2. This is one of my favorite place and the mornings there have been spectacular for the past couple days. I've been very busy past few weeks, but will be back in the next few days to catch up on your summer, and now autumn shots....Mike

Thank you Sir, I am happy to see that you understand the quality problem. I hope that someday is soon. I am not a hard core advocate of all things nature needs portected. Here in the U.S. they are called tree huggers. I do however feel that there must be places set aside for not only the lesser creatures of the earth but also a human can go to relax and enjoy the bounyt of the earth. Theses places are becoming rare here in the west.

Hi Romane..good morning to you too! Thanks for the encouragment & warm words on ~spring~. I was beginning to think that me & my camera were from 2 different planets!! I love flowers & birds, my two favorite subjects. I am glad that you got a chance to enjoy the beauty of this tulip also!
Hi Romane, thanks for commenting on "Winding Road". Fortunately I saw noone at all for the few hours I spent on the single lane tracks, but I was passed at rather high spped by some locals on the double lane tracks. I'm sure they were muttering "Flamin' tourists..." as they sped by...

Thanks for your comments on Make A Wish. I am so glad you enjoyed your visit. I have no idea what is on the bears nose. I will have to look next time I visit. This house has some very fanciful gardens and I am hoping to get more photos, as soon as the weather warms up again. It was 80 the day I took that photo, and yesterday we had 5 inches of snow. Brrrrr!!!

G'Day Romane;
It is so true, the country is the world of my soul. I love to go where it will allow me to think my inner thoughts in the peace of the mountains. Sometimes it is so quiet that it hurts your ears. Thank you for your kind words about my Glenwood Canyon and the Colorado River. You are invited to set for awhile in one of my lawnchairs and stare out into the canyon and relax. The only thing that I could add to that would be to have a good fishing rod with no hook on the line. After all we came here to relax not to pull in fish..<smile> I hope that your move is going smoothly

Ahh, Romane you always seem to have the words to brighten my day.Thank you for visiting my Spring Runoff... Almost. I must admit that I am a bit tired of the snow. The forecast is for snow and more snow until the 2nd of May. This is going to be a wonderful spring as the wildflowers will be in profusion. I kmow that our seasons are reversed but I have never heard of it snowing there. Do you ever get snow? If not would you like some? <smile>

Good mornign Romane..good to see you back on board! Hope the move went as well as moves can :) It was so good to hear your warm words on ~the rose~> I was enamoured by the simplicity of the flower as well as the shadows as they played on the petals. I am glad you enjoyed! :~)

Hi Romane. Thanks so very much for your super nice comments on "passionate". I'm honored and pleased....I think it's the first time someone has put one of my pictures into their favorites. You started my day off on a wonderful note. I hope you have a peaceful and happy day!
Greetings Romane, Many thanks for your comments about “Turbulent Beauty”. I actually went out that morning to get a sunrise. I found the water and its motion to be far more intriguing.

The locals, understandably, call this "God's own country". The problem with that is that one place of beauty soon becomes imperceptably merged in one's mind with another place of beauty.
The new home my wife and I hope to build in the near future is in country similar to this, except greener :)
I agree with you . It seems that there are areas on this planet that beauty abounds in such a large way that the mind becmes saturated. Annie and I sometimes must call it a day and then return the fllowing day to to absorb more of this beauty. How lucky we are.

Romane;
Thank you so very much for your nice comments about my Aspens Above the Conejos River. You are very kind. We have been so lucky to have found a cabin in an area that has such wonerful images to capture. There are more than we will ever be able to capture in a lifetime. When fotobob, my husband, found this lost image we were both so happy that we hugged each other with joy. Sometimes a computer crash can be a good thing.

Thanks for the comment on Bronze Iris.. I am glad you liked it.. I just discovered this type of framing in one of my imaging programs.. It creates some interesting effects.. I am learning.. The flowers are growing in my garden.. The area surrounding them was not pretty so I cropped, and tried this frame..
Hello my dear friend Romane!..I'm so glad you are here again now and then..time for a new post from you eh?? am waiting in anticipation!...thank you for all your very kind comments about my photos...as you know, they mean a lot to me...smiles to you...
Hi Romane, many thanks to you for liking "Gracious Lady"! Yes, I did think that this shade of pink was very attractive! I just loved it. It photographed pretty well I thought! Sincerely, Marilyn

Thank you for your comment on Moody Blues. This is my first experience interacting with others on a web site. I’m fortunate to have come across such a really great group of people…must be because you’re photographers! Friends who have visited Australia say it's wonderful. Judy
Hi Romane, how nice of you to comment on "The Seasoned Lady"! You know, it is funny, but any satisfaction I experienced stemmed from being able to claim ownership rather than from the photo itself. LOL! These are the only flowers I own and raise, however, there really isn't much care involoved, as you know! For that reason, I enjoy them too! I don't have time for gardening. At one time, when the children were small, I did raise roses! These are hybrids and I think quite delightful! Thanks again, Sincerely, Marilyn
Good morning Romane.. hehehe... there is a beach up there.. i cant remember which one.. it was a very quiet beach.. when we walked on that we actually saw crocodile tracks on the sand.. so be careful...

There is a lovely path along side the river, so it is easy to get great photos.. I an hoping to get back soon and walk up stream.. Happy to share it with you..
Hello Romane...how are you?....thank you for dropping by to leave your thoughts and observations on Lighthouse # 2...the re-work of Water Colors # 8...I enjoyed reading your comments and pleased you enjoyed the image...tks again.:Pat.
Hi Romane, thankyou for your long and considered comment that you left on 'Hard and Soft'. I love it when people leave long messages as i think that it shows they really have thought about your work. I really loved what you said and have made me see my image in a completly different light. Thanks so much :)

Thanks very much Romane for your kind words on 'Pink Horizon'. I took it at about 10 past 9, because I first saw it in the car, when the whole sky was pink. So when we parked up, I ran down to take a picture, but there was only that little bit of pink left at the bottom. I think it would have been a much-better picture if I had managed to take it a couple of minutes earlier.
Thanks again!
Hello! I almost cryed when I read the comments you left on my work 'Watch over me', I am so humbled. You went to so much trouble and I can't tell you how much that means to me. I must say that just before I created it, I had watched 'Constantine' the movie, and being quite graphic about angels to demons, I couldn't go straight to bed. I felt compelled to create an angel, to watch over everyone, who needs one. Achieving the dreamy feel was a big challenge, but your comments have made me feel that it was all worthwhile. Thanking you again.
It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
Hi Romane,
thank you very much for your nice comment on Explorer.
I have no RAW version of it. I have raised the contrast a little bit and changed the brightness for the contest. So it gets a little more red. I did'nt saw it and i thought, the warm colors are good for the picture.
Best ...
Thanx for your comments on 'another ladybug'. I don't have a macro lens (yet), in fact I just bought the camera recently with an extra telephoto lens (which I've just started to play with)...I'll keep the macro lens idea as a future option. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hey Romane! That just might be a rainbow!! I did not even notice that until I read your remarks. The sun was shinning in that direction so it could be.
Thanks so much for your comments! I very much appreciate them and your always welcome here!
Good morning Romane.
Thanks for your kind comments on "Paintbrush". Glad you liked it. Would you believe I was merely trying to keep the flower in focus and gave no thought to presentation. But I like your interpretation better; mind if I use it?
Thanks so much for your wonderful message, yes I will take your advice to go out of my comfort zone and capture other subjects other than sunsets, for me to really learn...in short broaden my horizon in photography. Thanks :)
I vistied a place called "Reptile Gardens" in South Dakota that has a huuuge saltwater crocodile that (I think) they said they got from Australia. Can't remember his name. But if you're ever in the states, you should check the place out.
Hi Romane, I really appreciated both comment and your good knowledge of the architecture.
In fact that place "Behind the Arc" is part of defense structure used for most of the Italian towns in the mountain side, like where I live.
Thanks indeed.
