Thanks for stopping by & commenting on "We're Outta Here". These ducks were pretty funny as they were hauling their duck feathers away from. The only reason I got to photo them is because they slowed down to "quack' to each other! lol :)
Thank you for your comments on (Days Go By...). I can definitely see how this picture reminds of a 2 AM walk (or especially stumble) to the corner store. Just be careful to keep it on the sidewalk :)
---Yes, you too can have a snazzy Holiday Icon like this, just step outside, face southwest, and holler at the top of your lungs .. "Hey, Avatartans of Aussieland, Help me." ... and somebody will be there shortly, it may be the police, but it may be the 'AoA' representative for your area. ... really.
Hello Lindsay, tks so much for your comments on Fractal Bouquet!
I would be happy to email it to you, pm me with your address if you want it ok.
The image without the flowers that is, lol.

Hi Lindsay, thanks for your comment On A Clear Day. You're correct, the photo was scanned from a 25 year old slide that is showing its age. Only so much you can do in Photoshop to compensate. Also, the landscape there is unreal...lots of bare rock and very sharp transitions. These look kinda weird on film. Still, if you're ever at the Grand Canyon, be sure to go to the North Rim...Mike
Thanks for the comment on "Under Cerulean Skies" Yea I didn't want a horizon because I wanted to give the feeling of a vast ocean. Also, if you look at my other TG images, I've never made an island before. =)

Hi Lindsay. I haven't had much time lately to comment on pictures or thank people for leaving comments on mine. Thanks for your comments on "Peacock Cathedral" and all the others you've commented on but I've not thanked you for. So pleased you enjoy them. I presenting at technology conferences for the next few days. Just stopped by the airport to pick up some NASA folks who are presenting with me. Have a great day.
Hi, Lindsay, and thanks for your comments on Canyon Light. I certainly agree that good 35mm slide film shots seem to have color qualities that digital hasn't quite caught up with. I shoot mostly digital these days, but that has more to do with being able to see my shots quickly and share them easily than with their ultimate quality.
