Thank you Lindsay for your kind comments on "All Backed Up". I saw all these little guys all lined up and couldn't resist myself. I'm pleased you like it.
Just for the future, do not be afraid to post anything like in fear that we might not like it. There's a saying I feel you should know, "When we work on something, we concentrate on what we did wrong before, because we already know how to do the things we that we did well on." I'm not going to say I liked it, because I didn't, but I do want you to know what you did wrong so next time you can fix it. Think about it.
Oh, and your age means nothing to me, since I am criticing the work, not the artist. Remember that!!!! When I am criticing work, I'm talking about the picture/photograph/pixels/etc, I'm not talking about you/your personal life or any thing that could be taken personally. You should also start trying to look at your work through the eyes of someone who doesn't know the artist, it'll help you look at the piece more objectively (without predijuice/biase) and you'll be able to critic your own work soon enough. Another thing to do is to look at some professional's work. Here's one site I can think of for photography - http://ueba.net/hosted_pages/Bad-Weather-Beautiful-Pictures
My critics go to your work, not you! Don't take things personally.
"Oh yeah, aight. Aight, I put on my robe and wizard hat."
"Slinky + Esculator = EVERLASTING FUN!!!"
Well, I don't care for photos. I like making models and drawing in my sketch book. And I don't have an idea for "perfect" since perfect is unattainable; yet, I still strive for it that way I'll never think that I can't do better. And from your reaction, I can see that you are taking your work personally, I am criticing other works to get that person to know what I think they could do to make it better.
You can't please everyone all the time. I'm just telling you what I think can make it better overall, for the majority. I'm not telling you what to do, that's up to you, I'm just telling you to start thinking about what might make your art better. If you don't want to listen, like I said, you don't have too, I can't force you.
If you want people to say, "ooo" or "aww" or "that's pretty/nice/beautiful" and not tell you what they really feel, then it'll take you a LOT longer to get better, if you do. Oh, and I'm working in animation, I don't use photos for art, I use them for references.

Thanks for the comments on 'Goose Egg Mountain' much appreciated. Kinda hard when you are clear across the lake with a minimal zoom lens. I need to get a big telephoto but can't quite talk my wife into it yet cuz I just got the camera.
Welcome to caedes.
Cheers.............
