Hey Andy, glad you liked the new moon shot, bet you could make up a nice story for that one huh? (lol) Wish you a wonderful weekend, take care my friend:)
Hi Andy, thanks for the comment on the Eccles picture, glad you liked it!! I It actually wasnt so cold, we were having a bbq for my friends birthday, so the minky monkey can keep his balls for another day!! lol Jan :-)
Yes, I am a tree lover, you must have realized it by now. So here is a nice poem to accompany my photo and to thank you for your warm feedback:
“I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree
A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her leafy arms to pray,
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair
Upon whose blossom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems were made by fools like me
But only God can make a tree.”

Hello again Andy, thanking you very much for your kind words on "Dr. Morse's Remedy" and no worries about the sermon, hearing about others opinions/cultures/current events/etc,etc. is part of what I love so much about Caedes. Have a splendid day, Kelcey.
Howdy. Just a short message to thank you for all your recent comments on my pics. It really is much appreciated. I'm 10 times more creative since joining Caedes and receiving all the encouragement from yourself and others. I've been really busy at work lately and that's my excuse for not answering all your comments as they come, sorry. Keep up the good work and...stay COOL :o)
You really are very kind, spending time in my Gallery and leaving such nice observations and comments, to mention only the Barbary Macaque capture. These are the only wild primates in all Europe. Friendly, charming and inquisitive the apes occupy the rock of Gibraltar for ages. But you have to be careful, they can grab your camera and then forget about any negotiations… The legend says that when the apes leave, Gibraltar will cease to be British.
I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
I was really flattered by your warm comment and truly appreciate your taking some time to help me find the sun, which is deliberately hiding behind some dramatic clouds. I guess I am missing direct sunlight which makes my engine work impeccable. Looking forward to spring season with longer and sunny days…
Hey all, A big thank you for all your kind comments lately. Just wanna say, I will be back in full force very soon, I have been quite ill recently. Getting better slowly, so be warned lol. have a great Christmas, and i hope to seeyou all in the new year.
hey all, thanks for your support, I am feeling a lot better, though i am awaiting an op so god knows when that will be. Will let you all know, and again, thanks for all the kind comments I have recievfed. It is very heartening to know my friends on Caedes are thinking of me.
Hey Andy, thanks so very much for your kind comment on Snow Stream!! And ii does look like a card that would have a verse on it! thanks again, glad to hear you liked it! ~abby

Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show

Andy thank you for the commentyou left on " my canal ", but my very next post after that one was "a study of my canal" and it has the boarders you suggested. Thanks again.
Gareth
Once again Andy, thankyou for your continual support of my images and in particular for putting up with my stuffing around, deleting and reloading and so forth. Very much appreciated, Kelcey.
Hi Andy, thanks for the lovely words you left in my gallery recently, it is especially appreciated considering how busy everyone has been with Easter and site troubles and such. All the best, Kelcey.
Ref: Horse Of Course
You want the horse? Not if I can get my hands on him first. I'm thinking of going down to that pasture tonight around 3 a.m., throw a rope on him and ride him home. He's a beauty, ain't he? Thks for stopping by.
Pat
Goodmorrow Andy, a big, belated thankyou for checking out my "Stroud Show" series. I am constantly overwhelmed by the amazing support I get from the wonderful people on Caedes. I hope your day is as happy as you have made mine:) Bless your cotton socks, Kelcey.
Thanks for the comment on Strange Plant - I'll have to watch Star Trek again to see if I can spot the ones Captain Kirk found! I hope they were friendly beasts but I suspect not. I'm enjoying looking through your gallery - so far I particularly like 'Pen and ink of Glenarif Bridge'.
Hello there Andy, thanks a bunch for your support of my work, it really fills me with joy to see you pop up in my gallery. Take care of yourself, Kelcey.
Hi Andy, thanks for your comment on bleeding heart vine and all the other stuff i didnt get time to say thanks for. Shame yours got eaten by the birds! my house is in such a built up area, and my garden is TINY , we dont get any birds to eat my flowers, lots of snails though! ug! :-) Jan
Fabulous to hear from you again, Andy. Big "THANK YOUS" for your generous words on "hairy little beauty" and "wood anemone" shots. Spring is a perfect season for flower photography so the the moment I spotted first spring heralds I thought they deserved my attention and careful study... Definitely a sight I should share with my Caedes friends. Stay tuned.

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hi Andy, Thanks for commenting on Maples of Spring. I am still using the 18-55mm kit lens for the Canon 350D, but I read an article on how to best use it, so I have been trying that. I do have a 70-300mm Sigma DG APO lens on order because I get frustrated that I can't take too many telephoto shots, hence the closeups. Thanks for stopping by. Good to see you.

hi Andy. thank you for commenting on my "PDX street". Yeah. I admit I was in the car and the resolution sucks. But I thought it's a pretty enough pic to share.
Catch you around.
Hi Andy, glad you liked the shot of Chicago, i had a great time in america! it is nothing like home! and it was nice, it was a much needed break its good to be back home (well maybe...) lol, but im in a different time zone today!
me again, im glad you enjoyed the shot of the trillium! :-)
i was very careful not to step on anything untoward! lol, im sure deer poop isnt very pleasant on your shoes! ha ha!
Hi Andy, glad you have enjoyed the holiday snaps :-)
the birds were cranes, so i was told! glad you liked quack quack too, i didnt do so much to the colouring, it came out not tooo disimilar to that, i just added a bit of contrast! :-)
Hi Andy, thanks for all your comments over the last few days!
The title was Monty Python because ... and now for something completely different .... !! (because i dont usually do photoshop stuff because im rubbish at it )! lol
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
Thks for stopping by Andy.
Ref: "I Missed Da Boat" and all that green stuff. All that green stuff is called duckweed. It is a pestilence for swamps and not a desirable thing. Sometimes it gets so bad, lakes, ponds and swamps have to be drained to kill it. It will strangle a boat engine. There use to be "swamp tours" here but no longer because of the duckweed. But, even bad things have their own unique beauty. Thats why I always take the time to photograph it. And, it is indeed very much Louisiana. Thks for stopping by.
Pat
Hi Andy, thanks for your comments and support as usual..glad you have enjoyed my work! i will endeavour to find out what type of plant the green is... lol, it was outside in a hanging basket i know that much!
Hi andy! thanks for your comments on stuff from last week, hope you had a great weekend! hyde park was very very wet, but steve tyler is the biz! (joe satriani was also very good)!
Hi Andy, thanks for your lovely comment on "To The Chapel", I will get to posting a pic of the actual building eventually, stay tuned:) Best wishes, Kelcey.
It's a little past due but I wanted to thank you for the compliments you gave me on “blue heads” capture. I really appreciate all the time & effort you took to view my blue flowers, lol. I hope you will be with me the next time I upload some fresh shots.
Hi Andy, thanks so much for your nice comment on the butterfly images in my gallery. Your complimentary lines on comma butterfly were very flattering. It is such a great fun to chase butterflies from flower to flower and an immense satisfaction to finally capture them. Recommend it to anyone willing to work on their character, he, he, he...
You are much to kind with your comments about my spring flowers, Andy. Oodles of thanks for your warm lines on "spring heralds" and "spring trio". Poor c-indexes seem to indicate my spring session was rather unsuccessful, but your words are definitely an encouragement that makes me keep posting here on Caedes...
