Thanks for your comment on MMM..... they were yum... had to fight the kids so i could take a pic without any hands in the way... lol... next time I'll share them with you...
Hi Alexis. Lands End is the westernmost tip of the county of Cornwall - I'm 40 or 50 miles east of there, half way along the south Cornish coast. But the Isles of Scilly were my childhod home and I still go back there when I can. So how come you know my islands? Connecticut's a long way away....
Thanks for your great comment on Flowers for Algernon, Alexis. Very much appreciated and I'm so happy you enjoyed the image. And another thanks for your wonderful balloon shots...they were the inspiration for creating Full of Hot Air. :)
Glad you liked the other Morrab Gardens shots as well, Alexis - thanks for your comments. The backgrounds came out dark 'cos I used flash on all the shots: it was overcast and quite gloomy and I wanted the flowers pin-sharp. I need to under-expose severely to stop the flash washing out macro shots so making sure the background was fairly well back from the flowers meant it came out nice and dark.
Hi Alexis..thansk for the warm words on "flutterby" & mucho thanks for the fav's! It was a good day for the butterfly & me, we were able to get it together!!!!
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Thank you so much for your kind words for "Lord of the Skies" I really appreciate the comments. I am doubly honored to find so much of my works in you favorites.
Hi again Alexis...thanks you so much for commenting on "Mmmm...good food". I do have more butterfly photo's & will be posting them in a series! Thanks for asking! :))
Tks Alexis, I am so glad you enjoyed my little robin shot "Whatchya lookin' at?"
He was really sweet and allowed me to take all the shots I wanted!

Hi Alexis..thanks for the warm words on "Eye See You". I really appreciate the time you take to comment. I am here to learn from everyone. I think might be the best shot I had detail-wise. I have a couple of more though :))
Glad you liked "Harbourside", Alexis - this Charlestown is a village on the south coast of Cornwall, UK. I can remember when china-clay boats used to load in the harbour here (twenty years ago?) and it was a busy, if small, industrial port. Nowadays it's mainly a tourist attraction and occasional film set. Thanks for your interest :-)
and thanks for the comment on "spirit of the fierce" :) im glad you recogonized how much effort i do put into the manipulation pieces, its not as easy as clicking a button on a camera or fiddling around in terrigen and letting it make the results. :) i might just end up fixing "below the surface" sometime :) thanks for the support
Thanks Alexis for your post on 'Yellow canoe' - much appreciated!
We actually arrived at that cottage during the night and hadn't seen any of our surroundings - that view was the first thing we saw in the morning - awesome place...
Hello Alexis. Great to hear your wonderful support given on "Ring Around the Rosie". I hope you enjoyed it on your desktop. THANK YOU! For all your honesty and continued comments. ;)
thanks for the comment on "flight of colour" wat du mean by base images? the background for this one i made a long time ago, it has more detail when there arnt a bunch of birds infront of it lol. the wolf one was just a scenery image i found, africa was just a map of africa, everytrhing else i just add individually on top of the backgrounds. ^^ thanks for asking tho
