Hello Amida, welcome to the most interesting photo site on the net ! I´m glad to see you found one of my butterfly images..and liked it ! It is very much a composition of shapes, textures and colours...like many others in my gallery. Maybe more of photo art than photo.
Thanks for your comment ! -- Arne -- (I hope my SwEnglish works...lol)
Hi Amida! I just looked through your gallery, I'am speechless. Except
to say that I put most of your pictures in my faves gallery! Keep up the
fantastic work! :)

Thanks Amida for the post on Zarathustra, to answer your question: whilst it is a prophets name, its also a Persian name which literally translates to 'Golden Camel'
Hey Amida, I appreciate the comment and feedback on the photo. I just posted another shot that I took the same day with a completely different color spectrum. Crazy stuff happens here in AZ :)
Hi Amida. Thanks for your post on Shroom Composition. The green moss and grass and the brown mushrooms work surprisingly well together, I think. Tried to find a good composition too. I´m glad you liked it. -- Arne --
Hello,
Is Harvey your first or the last name? Thank you for invitiation to the gallery. I enjoyed this trip very much. I hope soon we'll be able to admire "holy Oak" in golden tan. I did not know you had so many lotus captures. I particluraly loved the "lotus heart"- where did you find this beautiful speciman? The Spanish view caught my attention right away. Great idea for the photo and a very well studied composition. I have to admit you have very nice works. Congratulations. I promise to be in touch.
Thank you Amida for your nice words about "Nature Symmetry". I am going to post some more photographies of that area, you're more than welcome to visit the gallery. :o)

Hi Amida,
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I guess I could use photoshop to enhance the background. Perhaps someone can suggest a way to alter the backgrounds of the eyes of the beholders that are put off by a kiss. Les
Hi Amida, thank you very much for your comments on "At the Edge of Night". To have the creator of the original image appreciate what I've done with it has to be one of the highest compliments I can imagine being paid.
amida, i took this in northern arizona. This area is just up the river from the grand canyon. i'm south of lake powell in what they call "navajoland". the red rocks are everywhere and canyons abound. there are many wonderful places to photograph. thanks for liking this one. jen
The emotions, the tears, of wasted years, wash over me like a cold wind out of the north. I tremble and shake, with each breath i take, and there's no one around me that cares. Dwight.
Hello Amida. Thank you for your comments about “Wollombi Kingfisher”. I wonder if he had been watching me from behind all the time I was in the hide :-)
Hi Amida
Yes, Noor is Arabic for light. Just a shortened form of my real name - Hernoor.. I know it's very uncommon..
Anyway, thanks and nice to meet you,
Noor
Sometimes you trust someone who turns out not to be honest. There are a lot of things that happen in life that don't turn out the way you're given the impression that they will. And I think that's all kind of a con. But I think we've probably all been hurt.

Thanks Amida for the comments on my picture “Paws” I was surprised this one came out as good as it did. It was shot at 400mm with a shutter speed of 125 and an ISO of 1,000.
Typically not good settings for success.

Thanks for the constructive critisim on my photo "Sitting Pretty". After looking at it more closely I can see what you mean about the cat being a bit out of focus. I'll work on it and see if i can't make it better.
Thanks again :) I do appreciate it.
