Carolyn..my grateful thanks for viewing my images, I hope you find some you like!...
The spring picture was taken last year, at a Historic Victorian walled garden. There are many of these places scattered all over my part of the Country. which is in the North-East of England. near the city of Newcastle...I am very, very lucky, to be able to 'pick& choose' from all the wonderful beauties of our countryside.....The area where I live, is know as 'The Queens Garden'...thats because, our Queen Elizabeth. loves to visit here regularly!
regards for now Bob
Thanks Carolyn for stopping by to view and comment on my Redtail Hawk image. After I took this photo, this beautiful bird tried to move to a new perch and lost his balance. It was sad to see him flopping around on the limb tring to get his footing with only one good wing. I appreciate your support of this image.

Take care !
Lauren
glad you like this one. thanks for letting me know. i'm also happy that you like water hyacinth. when i first say the flower i thought it was just about the prettiest one i'd seen. jen
i'[m so glad you like this one. remember, this massive flower thing was a bit of a freak. this year there are no flowers. also, before you move to az make sure to visit in the summer (aug). thanks for writing. jen
Carolyn, Thank you for your comments on "A Countryside Autumn". The foliage on the trees here in MN put on quite a color display every fall for everyone to enjoy. Thanks again & for taking the time to comment. Sherree
Hi Carolyn, nice to meet you..and welcome to Caedes !
It was a real pleasure reading your kind reviews of three of my pictures. You picked out three I like more and more. The two forest images, After The Rain and Winter-trees..and the beautiful church building called Sofia. I´m especially lucky when I find those very simple views and subjects and manage to take interesting shot of them. That´s always an interesting challenge. I also think I found a nice angle and framing on Sofia. I was lucky to be there on a very beutiful winter day too. Thank you very much, Carolyn, for taking your time to comment this trio - I´m really glad you liked them !

Hi Carolyn, many thanks to you for your always kind and generous words left behind for me to enjoy! You always seem to enjoy what you are commenting on! I apprecciate your support of the attention given my work! Thanks again Carolyn, I hope you return often for future visits! I would enjoy that! Sincerely, Marilyn
thanks for the kind words, carolyn. the glass ball isn't mine. it belongs to my sister who has lived in kayai for 35 years. they used to find the balls fairly often, but no more. jen
Hi Carolyn, and thanks for your kind comments on "Feathered friend" and "Splash". The waves weren't actually too scary (people were going swimming in them, although they did have lifeguards out there in canoes just in case!), but a low angle for the shot makes it look more dramatic than it was. Thanks for your interest :-)
HI Carolyn, A big thanks for stopping by 'McCaigs Tower' and Leaving a comment. I am very glad you liked it. Behind the wall you walk through the tower and at the other side are wonderful views of Oban Bay. The tower was built to give all the local stonemasons work and was never completed.
hi carolyn, the plants are in water.....no dirt unless it's way down. the area is a wetlands that has been artificially created. the water goes through the reclamation process. it is then released into the river. it is called gray water and is unfit to drink. evidently the plants love it. there are many birds and plants and it's a great place to take pictures. thanks for letting me know that you liked the photo. jen
Thank you very much for your positive feedback on in the mountains. So glad you found it so appealing. I would like to invite you to my gallery where you can find some photos from my holiday in Beskid Sadecki mountains, Poland.
Hello Carolyn! Thanks for the nice comments on my Heron image. The key to this image is go slow and wait for the right moment and take a series of images. Then choose the best one. The only drawback in these bird parks is that you become a bird pooh target.

Hi Carolyn, a big huge thanks to you for viewing "Party Treat"! I sure did stimulate some appetities along the way though! I thought that by taking it to the BBQ, just in case they ran out of deserts, I would be there to help! LOL! What do you think? See you there friend! Sincerely, Marilyn
hi carolyn. i'm glad you liked this one the way i put it up. i thought of cropping and enlarging the boat but i didn't like it as well. thanks so much for telling me that you enjoyed it. jen
hi carolyn......seeing and being able to photograph the snowy peaks was a treat. we're supposed to have the same kind of weather this weekend as we did last so maybe there will be more snow.....very exciting for this neck of the woods. thanks for your support. jen
hi carolyn....i do like flea markets. i think the attraction here was the peeling pink wall and the way things were organized. thanks for liking it. jen
Hi again Carolyn. It was very kind of you to look around in my gallery and leave good comments on three more of them. I appreciate what you wrote about My Lemure Friend with orange eyes, Black & Pink - my fav. oak against a manipulated pink sky and An Odd Guy In The Park. I´m especially glad you didn´t get any bad feelings about the last one. It´s a very old sculpture placed near a royal castle called Ulriksdal. The sculptor´s name is Per Lundgren and his sculpture work is called "De nätdragande morianerna" (The netdrawing Morians?) Could be meant to show slaves in Spain fishing with a net in a stream a long time ago. I´ve found the information that Morians(don´t know if this is the right word for this group of people..?) built canals (’acequias’ ) in the Sierra Nevada Mountains there
Thank you very much for your comments.

Thanks Carolyn for your comments and support on my picture “Pink Midnight” The technique for getting the black background was discovered by accident some 25 years ago.
Kia Ora Carolyn, Your lovely comments about Reflections of Autumn really cheered me up - Thank You. That was taken with a 2 MP camera and I have just bought a new 5 MP which is very disappointing. I have produced nothing with it that is any good. I should have remembered the saying 'If it ain't broke dont fix it' lol.
Thank you so much Carolyn for leaving a comment at "Remember Me?". I wanted to present it in a sepia color to give it that antique look. I love to take photos of old buildings like these. So glad you enjoyed it. Take care- Eileen

Hi Carolyn!
Thanks alot for the comment and critism on 'tree and rock'. I felt that full size (without the boarder) the image had less impact - mabye ill post the full size one....
Thanks for speaking your mind - thats what i appreciated the most :)
Cheers - Sam
Thanks for the comment on my Gorilla Stare picutre. I love the pose and how he's messing with his foot and I hadn't noticed it, but he does look like he's wearing pants. thanks again.
Carolyn,
Thanks for the nice comment about "Bright Angel Switchbacks." Sorry it took me so long to get back to you but my computer suffered a coronary arrest in early March, and I just got it revived last night. It didn't have a transplant but I finally gave up and used the restore discs to get it running again. Ouch! The last time I hiked all the way down the switchbacks was about 25 years ago, when I was in much better shape. We hiked down to "Indian Gardens," a distance of about 4.6 miles one way with an elevation change of about 3860 ft. As I remember it took us about 6 hours.
