Hey Bj ... glad you liked the shot Window Dressing 1 and 2. It was a cold night in Calgary and I was out for a walk looking for a few shots. The talents of some display artists caught my attention and the direction of the camera. A few shots (through plate glass windows .. a trick unto itself) later I had a picture or two to share. It's good to change-up one's gallery from time to time. Such are examples.
I shall certainly be experimenting some more with macro ... I intend to get some bellows or exension tubes so as to be able to stop down and get some DOF
but for now I'm off to Poland again next week for nearly two months
so youll be getting more country and vista type of shot from me for a while
though it has to be said its already snow bound at my mums right now!!
so white is the colour of the day :)
Thank you for commenting on my "Can I join", I know it turned out blurry and I wish it didnt but i cant do anything about it now, and I cant take anymore pics like that this coming winter, but I will try to take more of this season also..I am glad you liked my pic.
Why thankyou BJ, for your kind thoughts on Christmas Cheer. I am experimenting to create an image to use for my christmas cards this year - which reminds me - I have to buy new glossy paper!
regards, mum.
Never give up. Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. ~~ Michael Jordan
Hi there BJ... thanks for your comment on Shhhhh Quiet Now... i'm glad you liked it... he didnt move all the time I was there.. I probably would have been able to get closer but didnt want to risk him taking off.. =D
Thank you B.J. for your nice review of "Harbor". I have no reason to think that this winter will be any different than the last with snow last night and more for tommorow.Although it doesn`t amount to too much.I am really pleased that you liked the image so..Rob
Hello BJ! Thank you very much for those nice comments on my Hyatt Lane image. I'm glad that you took the time to view this image and I appreciate your support of my photos.

Hi BJ,
thank you for the comment on "the wall". I know what you mean by cropping it on the pine line, I thought about it too. But that little distraction on the left, is actually the gate to the castle, the road to which is behind that wall, so I decided to leave it as it is. Maybe should,ve explained it.
Thanks for looking, appreciate it.
Getting a comment like that about the background on “Dispute Settled” from someone I consider to be the most creative background creator is most flattering. Thank you.
It’s me again BJ, Thanks for your comments about “Um… Oops.” The other photographer was one of the media Guy’s, he came over to compare shots after the incident.
Also for “Compelling Attraction”, which has become one of my favourites. You hit the nail on the head with the force greater than he. Thank you.

Glad you found some time to visit my "sunblessed" church composed against the illuminated neighbouring fields. Thank you for your warm words on this capture. It was the only moment on that day when I saw some sunlight. Nevertheless I was glad to be prepared for this moment. Despite the rainy weather I can proudly announce my trip was successful.

BJ - Thank You for your comments on Picture Window. I know where this pink bike is! Only problem is that, since I posted this picture, every Mary Kay peddler in the World is now hunting for it. Hi BJ, I love your icon and yes dear I did lick the stamp before posting and loved the taste!! Thanks BJ for stopping by and leaving your much appreciated words! Brix did a fantastic job, and you are right, I so loved the gift, so thoughtful of her! I have ordered my 'very own stamps' using the photo she used, 5 sheets of 20, only to be used for special people though! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi BJ, thanks so very much for stopping in to view "My Christmas Angel"! I think she is so sweet, I just delighted in photographing her! She is in a cemetery, where I run each day! I had taken many shots, but was never quite satisfied, but when the snow fell, that made the difference to me! I tried putting a rose under her chin, but that didn't work so...........! Thanks again BJ! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hello, thanks so much for your lovely message on "A Chystal Rose"! You think I can't do what you guys do! Funny, I just go about my own business hand making fractals, it's hilarious isn't it? You wait and see, I will show you a master piece one day that will turn your heads!!! I am just experimenting, it's cold outside! Seriously, thank you, your words are encouraging! Sincerely, Marilyn

Thanks so much for the comment on O' Christmas Tree.. The photo was rather old so I tried to find a way to use it and diguise the damage.. I do appreciate it..
Yes, I'm sure if I could get the quality of the original on to the computer it would be great.
When we get our tree this weekend I am hoping to recreate this with my digital camera, making it clearer.
Anyway, thanks for commenting!
My POW image is just a small reminder of the price some folks have paid as victims of warfare. Thanks BJ for viewing and posting a comment on this image.

Hello B.j. The “Dry Dairy” is picture perfect you say. What a great idea for unique Christmas presents. Thank you for your comments about it and the idea, you got my mind working overtime.
B.J.: I would like to thank you for your support for my images and especially thanks for commenting on "Top Heavy" again. I'm assuming it came up in your random "Voting Booth". I had the same thing happen to me yesterday, TWICE. They are both excellent images so it was a pleasure voting and commenting on them again.
I hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas.

Evening, B.J. So nice of you to drop in on Swirly & Girly ! I was in the mood for something different, something, je ne sais q'uoi ...you know ? That's why the pale pink background, & I knew the only thing to look good on it would be swirls. But you were right, Doug & his " hubba hubba " sure was funny ! And I always liked Erma Bombeck, she always hit the nail right on the head !
Hey BJ! Thanks for your very kind comments on Bersey. I always appreciate your input and ideas. You are a real asset to the Caedes community. I hope you and yours have a great Christmas and New Year.
