Hi Kate! Welcome...I'm glad you enjoyed "All That Remains of the Great Hall". I appreciate that you liked it enough to put it in your inspiration folder. I hope you'll take a peek at the rest of my gallery when you have a chance.
I'm glad you enjoyed "Rotenberg Chapel" and "The Garden III". Those have been two of my favorite places to visit while I've been in Germany. Your comments remind me that time is short and I better visit them again soon before I return to the U.S.

Hi Kate! I'm glad that you took time to view and comment on my Voguing Squirrel image. He's been eating pecans, walnuts and apples as well as the bird seed. Glad you like the practice shot. He would make this pose after each trip to the feeder. Welcome to Caedes

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Thanks Kate for commenting on another one of my frog pictures “Bull Frog”. No squirrels here but I used the same 100-400 mm lens. This lens lets me get shots like this from about 8 feet.
Hello Kate! I appreciate your very nice comments on my Panda Lunch image. I'm glad you took the time to view and comment on it. This was an initial field test of my new camera and lens.

I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority.
Hello Kate. I'm way behind in my comments. I want to thank you for all your nice comments on recent images added to my gallery. I cherish your comments and appreciate your support.

Kate, thank you for commenting on the contrast of the barren trees to the "Red Barn Hidden." Even though I am not a mystery writer, I bet it is the same for them when someone spots something you hope they will see, but you just hang it out there and wait to see if it is seen. As always, I really apreciate your thoughts on my pictures. - John
Thank you very much for your nice comments on "Look" and "Electric". Yes, it's not so easy to get a good shot of a lightning flash. I tryed for this 60 times. I hope, you have more luck next time.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Thanks for commenting on "The Grass IS Always Greener...". I'm proud of this shot and "Trunk Call" but really I was just lucky to be at the right place at the right time.
Thanks, Kate, for commenting on "The Corner of Broad and Arthur".Montgomery is so lovely and tranquil. It is tiny (1250 population) but has some wonderful ,old houses, great pubs and and two really good Tea Rooms (There's nothing like a good cup of tea! lol! )

Thank you Kate for the nice comment on "Please Be Seated". All you need to imagine is the sound of waves lapping the shore and some sea birds in the distant;-)

Im glad you liked Spinout, Ty for the comment. LOL... that bright object is a fair ground ride that spins at stupid speed... If you use a long shutter speed ( i used a 4 sec shutter ) the light get drawn line a movie yet records it as one image... Have a look in my gallery for my streaker shot...
Thanks so much for checking out leaf on deck and commenting, it's greatly appreciated! In my opinion one of the greatest compliments on caedes is for another user to add an image to their favourites, thanks so much :)

Kate, I hope you did not get to work late this morning because you were looking at casechaser's last four posts (Golden Serenity, The Gate, Patient Waiting, and Pristine)!!! Seriously, thank you for commenting on each of them, you know I always appreciate what you have to say. ~ John
Hello Kate,
thank you so much for all your nice comments!
I see you are on the sunshine coast, now that is a place I have never been and must see some day. I'll go through your gallery to find out more of your part of the globe.

Kate, Mrs. Mother Nature did gave me quite a natural composition for my camera's eye to feast upon. Thanks for commenting on "Fall Gold," my friend. ~ John
