Hi Dave, welcome to Caedes.. Thanks for the comments on Sail away, Snap and View of the lake #1.. All of them were indeed taken in the Lake District in the UK, well recognised.. The cliff edge is flat, makes for a perfect viewpoint (called "Surprise View"). We parked at the bottom of the hill & walked up, it was more fun that way :)
Dave, great to here your comments to Lindisfarne...It can be a bit worrying about the tides...but the views are worth it...I spent the weekend here, holed up in a hotel...and got some good shots!....cheers bob
Dave:
Thanks for your comments on Building/Cook Stove at Taos Pubelo. You are right about most of the things you said, but I don't recall having to pay to take photos. I do know that if you get a camera at the entrance you have to pay. It's also the oldest continually occupied Pueblo for over 1000 years.
thanks for you comments and yes I could just post the photo only, but in this case this was my choice, as it is your choice whether you use it at all. Maybe you need to think about giving more constructive criticism in a more polite way.

yes I can upload the pictures without frames or a title or a signature, but as it is my choice then I can do what I like with the image. If you are not happy with the image with a frame, then I would object if I knew you were cropping it because it has a copyright and should not be copied or cropped in any way. I do upload some pictures without frames but then that is because I choose to do it with that picture.
I am sorry, but I will not be changing my style just to suit individuals. thanks for your comments.

Hi, thanks for your comments on 'the only way is down'. I do not have any photographs of Hadrian's wall - I have yet to photograph it. There are lots of photographs in my gallery, however, from around Derbyshire.

Hi again, Dave. No, I didn't clone out any people. I got there just as the place opened for the day on a Sunday. I do have some photo's of people in other dwelling area's though that I have left in for the perspective.
I am sorry that this weekend I didn't get to comment on all the photos. I took a weekend trip and when I got back there were plenty. Hopefully the photo's I took and am posting will somehow make up for it. Smile

Hi Dave, just wanted to say (Fury of the Lake) is very nice. Being from Michigan also, don't you just love the Great Lakes? I live in Oxford and have 5 acres in Kalkaska County. I simply love Northern Michigan.
