Hi Denise !
Thanks for all your comments of late on my recent postings.
Yes, these wildlife shots are not easy to get and most are not even post worthy. I probably post one pic for every 50 I take. The elements are sometimes terrible. Bugs, Gnats, Mosquitos, Gators, heat, humidity, etc .etc... It's not like going to the ZOO........I'm so glad you have an appreciation of what it takes to get these. I Appreciate your Viewing and Commenting!

Thanks, also, for comments on 'Not Behind Glass'. A small gathering of people accumulated behind me. I assume they were in awe of the idiot taking pictures of something he didn't pay to see (LOL).

Hello, Denise!
I see you are a new member of caedes!. Welcome to the club
(family) of fine artists, and thank you very much for your visit on "Failed in Bulls-Eye"
Much appreciated!
Kind regards!
John
Thanks for commenting on 'Construction Zone'. I appreciate your input. I thought about getting rid of the fence, too, but don't have the know-how yet to do it nicely.
Thanks for commenting on Ripples II. I see what you mean about the tilt and yet it was taken from a footbridge over the stream and I layed down on it (the footbridge not the stream--chuckle)and set the camera on the bottom cross piece so I know it's straight the way it is.

Hi Denise. Thanks for the nice comment on Birth Anouncement. You might try using a faster shutter speed, or "sport" setting on your camera to catch the little buggers. It works good in situations like that. Good luck!

Hi Denise, thanks for commenting re Just Too Cute.... and Whose Bed? - that is a squirrel, not much bigger than a chipmunk though, was surprised when I first saw how small they are here, and yes, we got our bed back :) Appreciate your comments.
Thanks for commenting on 'Like This, Papa?'. I've lived here 20 years and have seen woodpeckers occasionally the last two years, I think. And thanks for comments on 'Don't Touch Me'. They actually do/did harvest the poison for poison darts.
Hi Denise, glad you enjoyed the shots this week, particularly the swamp, we were there for a good 2 or 3 hours until it got too dark to shoot! it was gorgeous.
Hey again,
forgot to say thanks for your other comment on "Illusion", and to answer your question it was not the end of the day, nor the beginning, but around 5 or 6 PM! So more like a late afternoon shot. Thanks again!
Thank you, Denise, for your wonderful comment on "all around me peaceful." Cape Cod is a joyful place to take pictures, there's so much everywhere you look.

Hi Denise, im so pleased you enjoyed my swamp shots. in response to your question about editing, i use photoshop and adjust the levels and contrast, and sometimes i use photofiltre, which is free, it has a filter called enhance colour. you should check it out, its neat for a quick easy fix of something.
Hi Denise, thanks for all your nice comments on my photo's, very appreciated! I know what you mean with dark monitor: i opend it at work and there i allso couldn't see much more than the head, sorry and greetings,
Wim
Hi Denise, thanks for the comments on 'last one is a goose' - that was one of about 6 photographs I took of them standing at the side of the lake and I was very amused when I looked at that one - no idea how I managed to capture them all in the same stance but it does look amusing doesn't it! I see you have only been here a short time, so welcome to Caedes.

Hi Denise,
Thanks for the feedback on "New River Gorge#2" and taking the time to write a comment. The one thing is if I were to crop out the trees that frame the photo, I wouldn't have much of a photo left. I liked the way it's framed........John
Thank you so much for the very kind comment On
"Approaching Storm" I will be waiting for you to post a sky shot my friend. > ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ :)sandi ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫
Denise I really do appreciate the supportive comment on "Play of Light" It has not done real well index wise and i suppose it is partially because of the framing. I'm so glad you liked though and thank you. > ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ :)sandi ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫
Hi Denise, glad you liked the duckling (i think he was a goose, but he still really looks like a duckling! lol, well done with your sunset, you dont need to practise too much, that was a nice one!
