Thanks for both of the comments the Bratislava pictures. I appreacite it. And yes, you're right, it was about 7am when I was there. People were complaining about the lack of human presence in the shot, but who would be there so early on Saturday? :)
PS: I'd love to post more pictures of Bratislava, but I'm in England right now and will be staying for a couple of months. I'll remember your encouragement though, and I'll go to the city with my camera the moment I get back. :) Anyway, I'm looking forward for your holiday pictures, so be sure that I'll keep in touch with your gallery...
Thanks for you comment on " Long Shadows" I greatly appreciated it.
I thinks it's some kind of palm tree. I try not to get too close because it looks like on of those trees that want's to attack you, but as you could see, I was very brave.

Hello Hans, Hey thanks for the supportive and kind comment on "Nature's Mirror" I really don't understand why its at 69 as of now. ?? I'm glad you like it my friend.
♥:)sandi♥
Hans, I see you followed the link to" Catching the morning sun"
Thanks for the support, i thought it was better than that but what do i know! Lol! ♥:)sandi♥
Thanks a lot for all those nice comments you left at Blue Danube, Christopher of Admont (Thanks for your good wishes; we really did enjoy that trip), Kaiserkogel, Barrage, Aquarium, Chris' Choice, Alpinist's last home (I love your idea about the crying alps), and October 2007 (the weather was better - in a way - than in our summer holidays. Smile).
Thanks a lot for your nice words about From a High place too. You are right, high places are not my kind of thing, but after going up there in that train, beside that fat smelling guy, I had to take the chances there. Smile
Thank you also for your nice words about Styrian Farm. Do you know, that I sit already with catalogs and look for the perfect places for our next trips through the country?
And I thank you for your words about The Crown Prince. I also do not like images with bars - I do not like prisons and I do not like animals look like they are in prison. So I am glad, you did not feel that way here.
Thank you also for your great comment about Late at the Lake. In fact there are four lakes, that are called the "Scheibel See"s. I called my father that day and he could not believe what we found there. I do not know a Hauer See till yet, but who knows? But everywhere in Vienna you can buy "Hauer Weine". Smile
Thanks a lot for your nice words about Memories. You have no idea, how proud I am, that you had this on your desktop. One day you have to visit the Nationalpark Gesäuse - this is on the Geo-Walk near the town Gams.
Hans I really appreciate you taking the time to catch up and so glad you enjoyed

Warsaw is in the northern part of Indiana. We are about a 2 hr. drive from chicago. sandi♥
Thanks a lot for your nice words about Nothklamm. The Nothklamm is 900 m long and the water goes down 80 m. I have thoseInformation from here. And here I also have a LINK to the Nationalpark Gesäuse for you. I hope this helps!
Thanks a lot for your nice words about national holiday. I am very happy that you did enjoy it that much. I am sorry, you had to work, but I am sure you also have a national holiday, or?
Hey Hans,
Thanks for your nice words on "Dark Sky", they are greatly appreciated, (~8
I tried to hold the camera firmly to the bars, as can be seen in your B&W daytime picture of the Brooklyn shoreline, (~8
Lovely image BTW,
Glad you liked it,
Hello Hans! I've been unable to spend the amount of time on caedes like I want too and I'm way behind on my comments. Although I haven't had the time to comment on your images lately, I have viewed, enjoyed and drawn inspiration from them. Good use of natural lighting. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Hi, thanks very much for the comment on 'Leicester railway station.' I'm really enjoying your posts, especially the bunkers. I don't always comment, 'cause I'm rather busy and you know how it is, one doesn't always know what to write, especially when you don't want to just say that it's a great shot. :) Anyway, I'm really looking forward for your pictures from Bratislava. I hope they're coming soon.
Hello Hans! Your Berghof bunker series really is quite impressive. I was at the Eagle's Nest in May while visiting my wife's relatives Berchtesgaden Germany. The mountains in the area are truly amazing. The constuction of the Eagles nest itself is an increadible feat. We didn't make it to the Königssee but did ride the Rodelbahn down the Alps which was alot of fun.
Looking forward to your further posts,
Matthew

Thanks very much for your nice words on "Crystal Palace", very much appreciated.
The dome is great piece of modern architeture and look very modern even after 56 years but I would love have the original Crystal Palace instead of the concrete dome.
Hello Hans, I appreciate you following the link and checking out "Fishing Out at the Lake" I have one more to share with you and i'll send the link for it when i'm ready to upload. I cannot say it enough how nice it was to talk to you and for your help. sandi♥
Hi Hans, glad you liked the night time shot of the Trevi fountain and you guessed right of course, I did not use a tripod. In fact I did not take one with me - it is too cumbersome to carry around! :) ....but of course I improvised and used a wall - they make very good tripods! lol!
...and no I did not take one by day - I was there such a short time, I did not actually see it in the daylight! :)

Hans thanks for the explanation on "Burn that Fog" I know it does not matter but the index is much better than my version. Thanks again my friend. Sandi♥
Hello Hans
Thank you for your nice comment you left at " Lovely Ladies" They are very much appreciated
I like working with photoshop and manipulation and it was something new..I noticed it only works on some images and don't at others:)
Thank you for your comment at "Christmas in Klagenfurt". Unfortunately there is any snow in Carinthia except the northern parts and on the mountains. Hopefully this will change in the next two weeks to celebrate a real White Christmas.
Nice greating to you too, liebe Grüße, Daniel.
One must hike up a klamm to appreciate the smell of the mist, the roar of the water, the cold caress of the mist on the face, often chilling one to the bones even in the middle of summer. It is very difficult for the camera to convey these sensations. One must live it before one can understand it.
I am particularly fond of Wiess, Oberammergou, Fussen, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I also love to wander the other side of the Zugspitze. Tyrol is wonderful. (Of course, two lands, one people.)
Hello Hans, I hope you had a good day my friend and thank you so much for the thoughtful comment on "Garden Display"
It's real nice to hear from you!
Sandi♥
Hello There and thank you very much for the kind one on "Storm Approach" It's pretty flat around here as you can see. We have some mtns. in the southern part of the state.

Okidoki Hans! ;) yes I have more views of the Alps but I posted three so did not think anyone would want to see more, but if you really want to I can probably dig another one out! Thanks for your comments my friend! :)

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
