Hey Eric, I really appreciate your comments on some of my photos. As you can see, I tend to stay with the old-school "pretty picture" images, rather than the more adventurous stuff that you do. Keep up the good work! - Greg
It is mighty nice of you to comment on one of my images. Thanks for all the input on "Purple Emperor". I didn't know this spectacular purple butterfly is one of the largest and most elusive woodland species, hiding themselves high in the tree canopy. I guess I was lucky to catch it drinking water from a puddle.
Nice to see you again, Eric. Thank you for your kind feedback on "Christmas is coming". A traditional Christmas Poinsettia always brings back warm memories, doesn't it. Christmas in four months time... Hope the image will serve you well.
Glad my ducks family caught your attention in the gallery, Eric. Thank you so much for your warm coment on this little group. You are always welcome to my gallery.
Many thanks for your favorable review of Gorge of Ronda, Andalusia. Thank you for your kind lines you decided to leave for my satisfaction. This town is definitely one of the most interesting and picturesque places I have ever visited. It is famous for the gorge known as "El Tajo" - The Cliff, which is spanned by a stone bridge, built about 200 hundred years ago. A must to see once you land in Andalusia, Spain. I saw some photos taken from the air and believe me this is a sight you will never forget.
Hello my friend, I would like to thank you for your constant support on my images, so pleased you like it in the golden park. I didn’t realize Lazienki Park would be so enchanting in fall disguise. No wonder the park and the Palace on the Water located within it are always visited by tourists who visit Warsaw. Please stop by for another visit, I would enjoy that!
Thanks a lot for your nice words about Wooden Marmot. I am very happy about them, since I have the feeling almost nobody came to see it. But when you say it is cool, I believe you.
Hi Eric,
Thanks for the supportive comment on "Oh No, Another Flower". I amd glad you enjoyed it. I can see from your gallery that you love flowers as well.

Hey, Eric: Thanks for your comments on my Otter Lake photo. I confess, I did boost the colors somewhat, as well as reducing the red channel (to enrich the greens and blues). I have no compunctions about "improving" a little on Mother Nature now and then! - Greg
Hi Eric, thanks for taking the time and go through my gallery and leave so sweet and kind comments on so many pictures. I really appreciate it.
I like the Orton´s very much as you could see ;)
Have a great evening :)

What's up Eric...thanks for lookin at "Meadow - B&W" and "Farley, My Boy 2"...my dog is sort of half named for Chris Farley and half named after that comic strip with a dog named Farley...we just thought if we named him that, he would turn into a goofball (as my sister would say!)...by the way, I don't know why I said you looked familiar!! I think its because I had just clicked on your link to your myspace page....I'll have to add you on there!
Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.
Wow, Eric! I'm as impressed with your comment as you are with my eagle! lol I'm so glad you liked him. There is just something about the face of the eagle that looks like it is full of wisdom. I guess you might say they are photogenic. Thanks again. Cindy

Thanks for the nice comment on this, it was a great day out, we went all over the place, Ian Fra99y took over 300 photos, so look out for more of Dartmoor from Ian as well.....

Thanks for your comment on my lighthouse shot. It is not an hdr shot. I did put a different contrast curve on the sky, but the rest was just a result of a 2 second exposure and circular polarizer.
Thanks for all the luverly comments Eric m'dear. I love art/photography too much to get into modelling... plus at a size 8 I'm STILL not skinny enough, lol!
Oh well. I'll open a 50's style ice cream parlour and be very happy at that anyways =D
Thanks a lot for your nice words about August 2007. Yes, after I brightened the colors the image was noisy, so I used a blur-filter and liked the outcome. I am glad, you too.
Hi Eric, thank you for browsing my gallery and eaving some comments there! It is always nice to get some feedback, but especially for older images :-) So I very much appreciate it!
What's up Eric...thanks for commenting on "Excuse Me, Flo? 2"...I'm glad you liked it and I'm so glad somebody got the quote!! One of my all-time favorites as well!! I've been so crazy at work these past few weeks its almost impossible for me to get out and get a few shots right now...but, in a few weeks it won't be as bad, so you'll be seeing more of me!!

Hi Eric, many thanks for your visit and b'day wishes for Terri on Bear Hugs...much appreciated...my daughter did it 'cause I can't draw and had nothing else on hand that seemed appropriate at the time....thanks again...always enjoy having you drop by.
Hi Eric, thanks for your comments and no I do not have a new lens - I use the same one most of the time. It is a Tamron 18-200. I just keep trying new settings. Most of the time I am putting it on Program Mode and selecting just one focus point - changing the ISO or Aperture up or down to suit the light - mostly I think using the one focus point works best for me - I can then pick out what I want to be the focal point then realign my camera and take the shot. Also I shoot most of my photographs in RAW mode then I can make some adjustments in Photoshop. :) Patti
