"Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many."- "I wish the Ring had never come to me.
I wish none of this had happened..." "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."-Gandalf

Dear Sherree, thanks so much for stopping by and commenting on 'another October image'. Such photographs give me some energy to wait till the spring comes with some sunshine and that is why I feel like sharing them ...
Thanks Sherree for the kind comments on “pretty In Pastel” it was originally shot in portrait but was cropped in landscape for the purpose of using it as a background.
Kia Ora Sherree, I am glad you enjoyed my 'Tranquility ' scene and your comments are really appreciated. It is a very beautiful part of this country and a favourite place of mine.
Hello, tks so much for the wonderful review on Dreaming.
The glow around the swan actually comes from the effect of the duotone filter that I applied in Photoshop for the dreamy look.
There is a similar image in colour in my gallery for anyone who is interested to see it. It is called Graceful!
Tks,
JuneBug
Hello Miss Sherree! Thank you so much for your comment on my pic,

Hello Sherree.......Many thanks for taking a minute to have a look at (ST.MICHAEL'S CHURCH.). and for your nice comments...I did'nt want to have any buildings in the foreground, so to leave them out I had to climb a very steep bank to capture this one...Thanks again...All the best...Mick

Thanks Sherree for commenting on “White Orchid” It’s another example of getting more of the flower in focus by using the manual controls on the camera.

Sherree dear,
The ducks are mallards I think and they are my favourite kind of ducks !!!!
I love the way they laugh at loud ...sweeties ... Despite the birds flu rumours here I keep on feeding them [disregarding the strong disapproval of Boris, the dog ...LOL]

thanks sherree, i'm glad you like it. thanks for telling me. the ocean is my favorite place to be.
i was also gratified to see that you like waimea. the canyon is magnificent. now that my kids are grown i can go when i want. they used to hate the drive. it takes about 2 hours to get there from where we stay. jen
sherree. finding one is a thrill. we once went to one of the hawaiian islands that is privately owned and i found 29. my husband always tries to find one to buy me when he goes fishing in alaska. that used to be a good place to find them. thanks for commenting. it's always appreciated. jen
Hello Sherree, thanks for the viewing of ~Palm~It means alot for the warm comments that made me smile. I am so glad that you do like this image. Come back anytime, your always welcome.

Regarding adventures in life - recently Boris is terribly busy filling the adventure gap in my life which he apparently finds excessive and unreasonable - every day he thinks of something funny and/or wicked [like peeing on one lady's furcoat made of natural animal furs - horror !]. LOL
thanks for commenting on this one. these leaves are growing in water at a place we call "the sewer". sounds gross. actually it's where gray water is released after being treated. there's a whole oasis there with awesome birds, etc. hardly anyone goes there (not surprising), but it's kinda neatl jen
Thanks again Country girl, liked your comments on Haystacks No More,I too live in a little village in the country after spending most of my life as a city boy...but its been an eye opener for me and has given me a much better quality of life....I can see where you're coming from Sherree.Thanx again!
