I just came on because I got Hoot. I can't believe people actualy buy new books. I bought this used one and it look just like new and it is a hard cover. It is awesome. I read 70 pages, although my dad sais I read them too fast I know I didn't.

In today’s infatuation with color it's nice to know there are people who can still appreciate black and white photography.
One of the ways I use to grade my color images is to turn it into a black and white image. If it still has interest then I have a good feeling that the image has promise.

Hi, Ereda...thanks for the comment on Wyeth House, glad you liked the photo. In answer to your question, the house is located on the southwest end of Monhegan Island, Maine. Monhegan is a small island located about 10 miles out to sea off the central Maine coast. There is a village on the island which is a mix of lobstering families and artists. Monhegan is also a tourist destination because much of the island remains in a wild state and the seascapes are quite spectacular.

Hi. 'Colored' was taken in Barcelona.
About 'Golden see': no filters. I just reinforce the contrast a little, but I didn't change anything in the colors.

Ereda .. thanks for your comments on my picture 2 for 1. The picture, though it appears to be black and white, is actually colour. It just happens to be of a black car, with chrome, reflecting a white car!

The tone qualities are a bit deeper with colour .. change it to B&W yourself and you'll see what I mean.

You can find there famous geographical sites (the Alps, the Pyrenees, The vosges, ...) and historical sites (castles, cathedrals, romans ruins, ...). Don't forget the vineyards, Corsican island (marvelous!), ....
20 years are not enough to visit this country!
