Note to all who ask: I'm a member, not an artist. You might say that we cannot all be players, some of us are spectators ~ there to ouu and ahh over your "chef d'oeuvres" (French for masterpieces..) So please keep those beautiful and interesting photos coming ~ they bring a lot of joy... Thank you!
Hi, thank you very much for your comment on 'cleaning the pond'. I really appreciate it. I'd like to have it without her as well, but see, she was working there and there was no time for waiting for her to leave. Anyway, thanks again for taking the time and writing all those nice words.
Thank you so much dear friend, for your visit to 'And then, there were Wild Flowers'! So very nice of you to stop by, as it pleased me a great deal! Yes, my dear, I would love to walk with you next May! I know who you are now, and remember you well, and we can pretend, can't we! I know your situation, and that is still OK, as we can still be friends, and I would like that a lot Gisele! I still remember the poem you wrote and sent to me, and thank you again for that!!!!! :o)) Be sure to keep in touch as it is good for you to use the computer, as it just may relax your hands somewhat! It is worth a try now, isn't it, my friend?
How very nice to hear from you once again!! ;o) I am delighted you stopped by for a visit!!! Thank you for viewing my Pink hibiscus.... I see you placed a 'fairy' on my flower, how very sweet, as now the image is perfect....I think about you often and now know exactly who you are, and as I said above....I would love to hear how you are doing, and are you still writing poetry? Your former gift to me was so appreciated Gisele, and I thank you again for remembering me...;o) I hope you visit again, as it is an honor to know such nice people as you....;o)))). Please keep looking upward and toward the future my dear, as you never know what magic may lie ahead. I leave you with sweet thoughts.......
Thanks for the comments you left on my "Silver Cave" and "Between the Rock and a Hard Place" I found them heartwarming and they provided me with some food for thought. :) What more can one ask for. Thank you.
~ Hi Gisele...thank you so much for your very nice comments on my 'Picturesque Sky' shot, much appreciated! I took about 7 shots of that sky at different intervals with the first shots being much bluer, but as the sunset reflected on the sky it turned that lovely peach so I posted the last one I took which had the most deep peach color of God's painted glory on it. Yes it was awesome...and we are very blessed to see such lovely skies.
Thanks again. Answering your question about "Sunset Leaves", the picture is 100% untouched. That is exactly what my camera captured, I just cropped it to a widescreen ratio.
Thanks again for your comment on All By Her Lonesome Self!
I'm glad you love flowers as much as I do. I hope to be posting something soon. But I have to put my schoolwork first... sadly.
Hello Gisele....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (CELTIC CROSS)and for your comments, they are very much appreciated....Thanks again....All the best...Mick.
"Guest for tea"
Hey Gisele, how great to hear from you. Been awhile.
This is actually a self-portrait, (chuckle).
The weather is still in the mid 60’s but with lots of rain of course (nothing new for the Pacific Northwest) so we can still sit between showers, and sip tea.
I’m glad that you enjoyed this one and thank you for your, always welcome, comments.
Joe
On a Morning walk’
Gisele, how are you?
Only you could describe in words that which a person wishes to capture.
I’m so glad you stopped in, you are always inspiring. Thank you…
Joe
Hi Gisele! How are you doing?
I’m always glad to hear from you. Your gift of description is always a fresh and inspiring. Makes me feel like the work is special to you. A nice feeling for sure.
Thank you again for viewing “Fallen Leaf”. It was on our brick path to our house and I had passed over it many times, always saying to myself “gotta get a shot of that one”, and the way most things go is, we don’t get second chances. Things are always changing.. Maybe it’s a sign..

Cold Moon’
Oh Gisele,
You always make such beauty out of a simple photograph.
Amazing, I’m looking for that little bird now, with hopes that he’s has made his way before the storm..
Thanks again, Great Words..
Joe
Hi Gisele
Thank you so much for your kind words on "Pretty In Pink" I do appreciate them:-) You are right, the flowers are Hibiscus. Have a Merry Christmas!

You have a good eye Gisele, I thought the same, waiting for their ship.. My Dad, (rest his soul) used to say that also, when I was a Kid. Knowing that we didn’t have the money that everyone else seemed to have, so we waited and waited for that ship and you know what, it never came but you know, we were never in debt and every one else was, Ha.. And yes I believe that this is the same artist that did “The Kiss”…
And as always, I look forward to your comments my friend..
Guess Who"
Gisele, you always make me feel like I should be more than I am. You have such a word gift, (that I dearly love). Yes the north winds are blowing in from Canada and I split all my wood in the fall. I haul up a load twice a day from the wood shed near the barn to keep the wood stoves fired.
But I gave up smoking quite a few years back and I do miss that. Yet it is warm and cozy in these dark snowy night of winter..
Thank you, my friend…
Joe
Thank you very much for your comment on No Place Like Home. I agree with you and the previous comment that the exposure wasn't quite right. I've still got a lot to learn. I still like the picture. Thanks again
Thank you so much Gisele for your comment on Red River Gorge 2. i will try to mess around and see what i can some up with. haha actually the hike wasnt that bad, you start up that high, so its fairly flat if i remember correctly. thanks again for the comment, i really appreciate the feedback! ~abby
Re: Mixed Company,
Ah! Gesele you've got my number for sure. You are the only one to get that one.. How did you figure it out, I ask? Humm! You must have an inside to my madness.. And your wit is only precluded by your typing skill.. Ha! (take that)!
Seriously, it's so rare to see this sort of menagerie getting along and actually sharing the meager crumbs that I had availed to them.. (oooh, did I say that, Wow!)(Stepp'n Up)
As always, I truly enjoy hearing for you, Lady. Thank you for taking the time, and yes the sun was wonderful but short lived. Joe.
I will definitely take a picture of the island during the summer. Thanks so much for your encouragement on Josh's Island. It's always been a special piece of land to me!
To grant your wish, I will post the original picture of the dog. I am then going to be done with this image, and will post something different for a change!
Thank you for such a wonderful compliment! I haven't been able to get new work done in the past year due to major life changes, but I am hoping that by joining this site I can get motivation to do new art! All of these great comments are simply an inspiration to do more. Thanks again!
I'm glad that you like GreenEyedSusan Redu. HDR is so helpful in making things just a little more interesting..
Thanks for the GW and I am back to my ornery self now. Chuckle!
Hi Gisele, thank you so much for taking the time and commenting on "Gator in Utah"

Hi Gisele! Thanks for your kind comment on "Trillium"! I certainly knew the meaning of the prefix "Tri" and that's why I needed the input of someone with knowledge in botany as I clearly saw more than three petals on this flower. Yet, it does resemble the official logo of Ontario, a trillium, as you sure know. I thank you once again for your kind input!
Garibaldi Docks,
Hey Gisele, how ya doin? This was done with a combination of tints untill I got that old look (been really bored lately with all the storms we've had) Ha! Converted it to B&W first then start mess'n with it. I'm really glad that you like it.
Great hearing from you and thank you.
Thank you for your encouraging comment on my photo! I know I have a long way to go before I will be as good as I would like to be, but it makes me feel really wonderful that you enjoyed my photo! : )
Thanks for your comment on the "Old Timer". I agree, it would have been wonderful if he had looked at the camera. He was rather uncooperative. By the way, I replied to your question about the flowers in the "Desert Rose" picture, but it didn't occur to me to post that comment here on your wall... haha!
Thanks so much for the very supportive and kind comment on "Fox Trot" Thank you also for the 10. I do really appreciate it and see that you do understand how hard a shot that was.

Hey Gisele,
Once again you blow me away with your descriptions. How fitting this one is of "A New Nelly". Thank you for always saying the right thing. I hope your are warming up now that it is "officially" summer, Ha!
Just Joe...

Hey Gisele...thanks so much for your kind comments on "Mohican Falls 2"...Ricketts Glen is such a beautiful place (especially in the fall) although it is a pretty strenuous hike...you can't complain if you gotta work just a bit for the sights!
