Thank you so much for the info on the tree with yellow flowers that I had a photo of. I had no idea it was called spicebush. I don't think it's native for Sweden but I guess some subspecies of it could be european. I'll have to google it some more. Now I know where to start my search at least. :)
Hey Kjh,
Thanks for the enlightenment on "Pelee Island Flower". I guess I could have looked up the info on this flower, but hey that's what makes this site interesting. You should fill in more user info so I at least know who to thank for that info............John
Thank you for your comments on Blue 921. I appreciate the info!!! I have so many old plants on this property and am trying to revive all the flower beds and grounds. If you look at some of my gallery, you will see quite a few there. There is one plant that may interest you. It is green and we are still trying to identify it. We think it is a Chinese Aeralia(spelling?). Thanks again!
Hi! Thanks for the comments on Bears Britches. Yes it does have tall spikes with flowers on it. I will have to post some of the flowers for you to see! Thanks again!!
Thanks again for helping out and finding a name on a for me unknown species of flower. :) You got me on the right track. I looked at the image and thought it seemed to be a far too large flower. The one I shot was no more then 7 cm tops. When I looked around on the same family of flowers I found what I was looking for (most likely), it's called Veronica spicata in latin, common name: Spiked Speedwell. The one you found grows to about a meter in height and is called Garden Speedwell as common name. I didn't find any good pages on english to give you a good link. Most I found were garden varieties and not the wild herb. Anyway. Thank you again. It's always nice to get some new info on a flower I "just shot" and didn't know what it was. Every day is a good day to learn something new. :)
Hello, thanks for your comment on the Agave. No, I did not know they bloom only once in 35-100 years.Isn't that amazing? I did know they die after blooming, but that's nature!
thanks for the post on the Taking Of Christ - it was something really small like that image that I had to work off of - curious how they seam to be questioning its authenticity....
Hi Q! Thanks so much for your comments on soft & white! One other viewer thought it could be bridal wreath as well. Appreciate the info. and your stopping by to look!

Thank you for your input about “Spring Blush”. Unfortunately it’s not a Thanksgiving Cactus. I will post a photo of the entire plant in a week or so, when I work out how to present it nicely :-)
