Hi Katie, thanks for your comment on "Another Storm Passing" If your colors are washed out in your landscape pictures, it's probably from the haze in the sky. You can correct them in photoshop by adjusting the levels control if they are digital. If you don't have photoshop, download Picasa from Google. It's free and easy to use. If you need help, send me a pm.
Thanks for your comment on Her Majesty. You presented a good idea, now I just have to get Photoshop on my computer! The black boxes are pylons in the foreground- we were standing on a dock of sorts.
Thanks so much for the kind words on 'Divine The Moment', I'm so thrilled you like it! I appreciate you taking the time to view and comment, thank you!

Hi Katie: Thanks for your nice comments on Painted Rainier. It's funny that you are originally from the Northwest and are now in Ithaca (I'm assuming NY). I'm originally from New York - went to school at Vassar - and now live in the Seattle area. As for the photo -- the only thing I did was to adjust the contrast a tiny bit in Photoshop to make the blue sky less faded out. Rainier just looks like that from the vantage point on the Lily Basin Trail. I'm glad you enjoyed it and that it brought back some nice memories. Cheers!
Thanks Katie for your comments on "Fire Light" and "Let's Have a Nightcap". Mt Rainier is one of my favorite subjects and the mountainous areas of the Pacific Northwest are all quite spectacular.
Also Thanks for the kind comments on "Palouse Farmland".
Light is that magical phenomenon that allows us to enjoy the sights of the physical world. That property grants me the ability to interpret and record the beauties of which are so vital to me: my physical environment. Each of us sees and interprets the world a little differently and I am happy to share my interpretive vision of it with you.
