Kia Ora Maurice, many thanks for your very kind comments on my two recent flower pictures. The white variety of rhododendron is my favourite, although there are so many beautiful colours. They grow well in our area, although the one and only I have in my garden (called Percy Wiseman) is a dead loss, and sulks away in a corner.

Hey Maurice, thanks for the comments you left at "cannons at Ticonderoga"! A very interesting place to visit (I was there in September). This was developed as a tourist site shortly after the american revolution! It overlooks Lake Champlain and all in all, it was a great day trip!

Hey, Maurice. Thanks for commenting on 'Going Home III'. The original bird posting got a c-i in the teens and was a little too minimalist, I guess. While I'm not so shy about posting photos when I'm out being a 'weekend photographer', my skills at photo manipulation are self taught and limited. Your comments are much appreciated.
Thank you, Maurice. Your comments are always so nice. The woods in Lets Follow This Path are actually behind my mother's house. I used to go there often when I was a teen for solitude and contemplation. It used to be more dense with trees, but the fellow who bought the land cleared out a good deal of it unfortunately. Thanks for stopping by. I'm always happy to see you. Cindy

Thanks for commenting on 'Polly want a cracker...NOW', Maurice. There are at least 20 birds in this little enclosure and they can run you out of the place when they are active and vocal.
