Thanks for taking the time Kat to comment on "Smokey Posing". Very much appreciated. Will try and get that close up shot for you. Thanks again. And, welcome to Caedes!
Andy
Kia Ora Kat,
Welcome to Caedes :)
Thanks for your kind comment on Fans. It did not do well with voting and was about to delete it but since having 2 positive comments in the last 2 days will leave it a bit longer :)
Hi Kat.. thanks for your great comment on My Bleeding Heart... i'm so glad you like it... they are a very pretty flower... I have been trying to get a good one of this for a couple of years and finally got one.. so keep on trying... =)
Hello Kat....Sincere thanks for the warm words to Brian's Dilemma!....If I can cheer you up...then I know I have succeeded in that!.....Brian and I were supposed to be going out today for a foto-shoot!...but it absolutely p..errr!..raining here!.......There are quite a few lakes and ponds where we were going...I had an inkling to just 'nudge' the owd sod...for a super pix for here!......Will have to wait a while now!......lol ...Bob
I wanted to thank you for your "pure"ly delightful comments on my piece; "Autumnal Face." You ... made my day when I read them. :o)
That is very high praise in my books. I sincerely appreciate not only the words themselves, but addtionally, and perhaps more importantly ... you taking the tme to do so.
Les.
p.s. I quite liked the verse myself too. It was, as they say ... fitting. :o)
Hi there Kat..thanks so much for the warm words you left on ~cardinal country~. That shot was taken in the only real snow storm that we had last winter. This was one of about 23 cardinals that were at the feeder, fighting for space at the buffet line. This guy was on the railing below, just looking so hungrily at the feeders.......I am glad that you were able to enjoy my cardinal as well. Stop by anytime, the door is always open ;-)
Hi Kat,
thanks a lot for your kind words on 'good night, dear sun'.
Yes, it was a special way to end every day there, our apartment was standing right next to this arena :o)

Thks for stopping by and commenting. Would you believe the pontoon bridge I took this from is now underwater and the road is closed. We had more rain today.
Hi Kat - Thanks for stopping by and for your comments on Blue Mountain Building. That's an interesting thought regarding the homing pigeons! I'm going to keep digging for information.
Hi kat and thank you so much for your comment at 'Won't You Join Us?". This is behind my Moms house where we always go for a walk when I visit. This was taken very early in the morning when the sunlight was "just right". Thanks for stopping by- Eileen

Hi Kat and thanks for visiting and commenting on my Lift Off,
One of these days I will do it over again and loose the frame.

Kat: Thanks for taking the time to comment on "Tiny Bird." No blind - just "blind luck." I was sitting behind the fence waiting for an indigo bunting who wouldn't come near. Then this little bugger hopped on the fence post. Had to dig out my Peterson's Guide after I got home. Luck often trumps talent! Gene
Hello Kat. Many thanks for your thoughts and comments about “Poor old Peg Leg”. I was very interested to read about the Carolina Wren in your yard, because the circumstances are quite similar to mine. I noticed Peg Leg chasing a pretty little female yesterday, so there’s still hope for a Peg Leg family :-)
Hi Kat, I'm delighted in your reaction to 'Green Goddess' ! I agree you have some fabulous moths in Florida but I still think this is the most stunning one I've ever come across. Many thanks for visiting. Cheers, Steve.

Hi Kat, Thks for looking at "Fancy Pants". I atoo was faciunated by this tree having both colors on it. I have seen several of them thru out the area like that. Hope I hear from you again.
Pat
P.S. I like your two goose compositions in your gallery.
Hi Kat and thanks for the coments
I used a Canon 5D camera with a Canon 100-400mm IS L zoom. I don't have the EXIF data in front of me but I think this is close. The aperture was wide open at F 5.6 shutter was about 250th and ISO was at 400.
Bunches of thanks Kat for your kind words and taking time to comment.. Pleased you liked The Owl and Dog. It would make a cool embroidery. I made an 8x10 print and have it framed in black.. Looks cool. =D
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life....it comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday." John Wayne.
Hi, Kat. Thanks for comments on 'carnivorous squirrel'. All kidding about these little vermin aside, I follow a family that is being raised in a palm tree outside my back yard an hour or two each week looking for new photos. I find them very entertaining in some of their antics. It's a good way to get over a hard day's work.
Thank you Kat for commenting with such kind words on "Rusted Rake". If only the old hay rake could talk, I wonder what kind of tales it could tell.
I'm pleased you like the image and please feel free to visit anytime.
Thank you Kat, for the nice comment you left for "Humminbird feeding" I use a Nikon D-50, with 55mm-200mm lens, And just sit on my deck and shoot away.
Thanks for commenting on 'Lovely Blue'. I'm going to have to take a picture of the sign as I keep forgetting the name. You might also enjoy the Semeira (also not correct 'cause I tried to find it on google) which I renamed 'Mother-in-law bird' in my gallery.
Thanks Kat,
This photograph " O, La, La," was really a surprise for me, because I could not at all see what I did. And then the largest surprise is then how the mushroom sees to the lower part. Thanks for you fine and favourable responses.
Wil
It is mighty nice of you to comment on one of my images of November series. I am glad you have found the “November impressions” worth a visit. I believe the gentle suns rays passing through the trees and leaves right on the sun-dappled empty path on a hazy morning made the photo so attractive … I have only captured this magical moment. How nice you have decorated this photo with your gracious words!
Kat, I am thankful, the opinion on (the Hand) I can say that I do not know its origin, I only know that the same one if finds in the Municipal Park of Oliveira de Azemeis, place where if they find another trees rare as they are one all entrançadas, this locality is only the 5 kilómetros of my house, debtor, pride
Thanks Kat - I'm glad you enjoyed my who did that shot of the trainers! It was an old black and white film scanned in - then I just painted it in PhotoShop elements5. I must admit I am partial to a bit of humour in life!
Kate
Hi Kat, thank you for taking the time to comment on 'Frozen Swamp'. Should we get a repeat of that morning I will try some detailed shots. So far it remains unusually mild here in Cape Breton. Ian
*Dunstanburgh Castle Ruins*....This is one of 5 Castles that can be seen from one, and one only focal view point in our area!.....
I thank you for your kind comments to it!.....very grateful for your visit!......Bob
It sounds like the “Nicobar” pigeon had a similar affect on you Kat that it had on me. Frankly I couldn’t believe my eyes and nearly forgot that I had a camera in my hand. My limited knowledge and research suggests that they come from islands between Indonesia and India. Thank you for your interesting response to “Nicobar” I enjoyed reading them.
Hello Kat, I want to say thank you very much for the nice comment you have left on "Golden" I really like this plant but have no idea what it is. Have a great day. Sandi
Hi there Kat.....thanks so much for the warm, kind words you left me on my image ~on the rocks~. I shot that image right after hubby & me had worked 2 summers re-doing the landscaping in our front and this lily was the first to bloom! I loved the color of it and it sure turned out better than I thought it would Thanks for stopping by....the door is always open and the coffee on ;=)
Thank you Kat for your honest critique on "Killdeer Return". I can certainly see your point of view. I had never saw it that way. There is a bit much useless space in that blurry background.
Hi Kat, thank you very much for your kind comment on "Shelter", I quess I was about 4 or 5 meters away from them when I took the shot, and luckily didn't disturb them:)
Hey Kat. Unfortunately I only got one shot, the photographer in me was shot down when we had to head out once again...
I appreciate the comment, it was actually shut down at the time, sign in front sayin so... double the disapointment.
Thanks again, have a great day!
Hello kat, I want to say thanks for the nice comment on "The Billy Sunday Home" Yes we could use more like him couldn't we. Especially these days! Sandi
Kia Ora Kat - so very many thanks for your encouraging words on Overflow. I decided it was about time I tried something different. It has failed very miserably in the voting but the generous comments I recieved have more then made up for that. I am so pleased you liked it :)
Thank you so much for your kind comments on my Delicate Daffodil photo. One thing I've learned is never to try and second-guess Caedes viewers - so no, although I liked it when I'd finished, I did not know it would do so well as it did! My utility room has just the right colour on the walls to complement the yellow of the daffodils. This was one of a group of miniatures, grown in a chunky glass container - supposedly for Christmas, but were a bit later flowering! Thanks again for visiting and commenting. Good luck with your creations too! Kate
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Hello Kat ... Thanks for the visit and comment at "Referee Or Royalty" It would seem you are a bit of a bird enthusiast from your comment and I'm honored to have my image become part of your Bird Slide Show. I really appreciate your letting me know.
Kia Ora Kat, Thank you so much for your kind words on Victorian Posy, I appreciate your comments very much. I agree the flowers would have been better overlapping the border, but I have no idea how to do that. The one bud and the bit of petal at the top I 'painted' in with the push tool and the smudge tool in PSP, not very well done and they took ages. I would love to know how to do it properly. Any tips welcome
Hi Kat - well! I'm overwhelmed by your wonderful comments about Black-veined White I'm delighted you loved it so much, makes all the effort involved in trying to capture it worthwhile! I spent ages scrambling about over crumbling limestone rocks at 2500 feet chasing this little beauty before it finally settled to feed enabling me to bring into play the superb macro facility on my Nikon Coolpix 4500 [which is a digital compact if you don't know it!] I was just patient and gradually got closer and closer. I was about 4" away for this shot - it flew off shortly after, out over the mountainside.
Cheers,
Steve.

Hello Kat,
I wanted to thank you for your nice words on 'Mountain Creek'. I have not been back to that place in some time! I too would have loved to wander down the banks of this creek! Thanks again I appreciate it very much!!
Hello Kat
I'm so glad to have shown you my starlings and to put them in a different view for you! I know they can seem 'single-minded' - but they are such good parents and partners! We watch them year after year pairing up, coming back to the same nesting places and bringing up a new brood - fetching food from morning to night. Glad you liked my pic, Kate
Thanks ,Kat, for visiting and commenting my "Yin-Yang"...much appreciated! Those superb schells are in fact a"souvenir" from my last vacation in France,Normandie(Etretat)...very glad you liked..! ...Thanks,again!
Kia Ora Kat, so pleased you liked my beach picture, and thankyou for your lovely comment. I guess one of the advantages of living in a small and comparitavely sparcely populated country is that much of our coastline is as deserted as this.
Hello KaT...Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (BULLSEYE) and for your comments, they are very much appreciated...This breed is called the Aberdeen Angus a very popular breed in the the North East of Scotland....Thanks again...All the best...Mick.

Hi Kat, and thanks for your veiws on my post of "Stalker....The Poster". I rather this version over the original also. I find it has more "depth". I will try to post another Poster Form later. Perhaps an Alligator. Thanks Again.
Hi, Kat. Thanks for comments on 'It's not easy being green'. I would guess about 1 in 30 to 50 are green at our house in Tampa. Either more rare or better hidden.
Thanks Kat for commenting on my squirrel picture”Relaxing”. It must have been squirrels day off because most of the squirrels were just hanging out in the trees.
Hi Kat!! Thanks so much for the kind, warm words you left for me on my image ~orchid water~. I had fun playing with the image and it pleases me when another person enjoys what I did! Have a great day ;=)
Really appreciate you taking the time to comment on Sumptuous Sand Dunes - it really felt like an alien landscape, and you could imagine yourself anywhere! :-)
Hi Kat, thank you for commenting on my photo "Angel Bird" So many folks here like my bird photos so much, I was encouraged to put them up for sale on my website, check it out and let me know your thoughts, and no, you don't have to buy one. I have only sold 3 so far, but it is a start. Good to hear from you.
Thanks so much for your very kind words on "Searching for Lunch." It was very nice to read them! I am very glad you like the photo. My friends want me to do a bird book, actually. Maybe one day I will :)
