Hi Laura, Welcome to Caedes, I am sure you will enjoy being here. Thank you so much for your wonderful words on Peachy Pair, which are really appreciated. The roses were so beautiful it was impossible not to get a good shot of them :)

Hi Laura. Thanks for viewing, an your comments on Colour Burst.
The background appears quite dark as it is a heavily wooded area, while the Iris is in open sun, about 15' from the woods.
Hi Laura, many thanks to you my friend for viewing "Delicately Pastel"! I always appreciate your thoughts and comments, and hope to learn from them! Thank you very much for your enthusiastic comment on "Doggie"! I am surprised that you would think of how something would look on foil. It's kind of unusual. Thanks again and I hope you have a nice week!

Hi there and thanks for your comments on "Putting the Demons to Sleep." I appreciate every comment. Your right also, it is theraputic. You will be glad to know that the Dream is now subsiding although that is more to do with a dramatic change of surroundings. I have always wanted to put the Dream down on paper though. this might not be paper, but it is good enough for me, more fun too.
Hi Laura, another big thank you for viewing "An Iris in Crystal", I appreciate your thoughts and comments so very much! I am deeply entrenched in my enhancement programs, and trying just about everything, but surely see, I still have so very much to learn! LOL! LOL! What a darling connection to "Candy Man" you made regarding this image! I remember the song so well, as it was Sammy Davis Junior who put it on the charts, wasn't it? Great song!! However, I am about to delete this image, as it won't go down in history as the "photo of the yr." LOL! Talk to you soon Laura! Sincerely, Marilyn
Sleeping With The Fish Revised is an image that I created when learning to use layers and some other photoshop features. It's a normal sunset turned upside down with a ripple effect. I then added the sleeping cat and aquarium fish on new layers with heavy blending and use of the eraser tool and an overlay of the background with blended cutouts. My current manips added some more color to the sunset, cat and fish with a little fog thrown in. This image brought me to a new level of photography. Thanks Laura for viewing my weird image and for taking the time to comment on it.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Hi Laura, thanks for the comment on Daisy 2. I personally prefer to have the background out of focus and dark as it makes the flower stand out more. Thanks again!
