For what it is worth, I am really sad to see your gallery gone, Lauren.

Had your "Heartbeats" piece bookmarked for some time now. Even went so far to download it and spent some play time in the sandbox of Photoshop CS3 with it.

No, not to post elsewhere or anything like; re: modifying or changing it.

Being bold here (hope you don't mind), the text 'Heartbeats' and more so and in particular, the 'wings' below (if I am recalling this aspect correctly) was driving me ... er, a tad nutz.

Long story short ... I tried mirroring the wings, top and bottom, with the word 'Heartbeats' sandwiched in between. And to my novice eyes (and in my very humble opinion of course) ... thought the overall compositional balance was a bit better.

That said, with both of my feet planted where they usually are ... I really enjoyed that image. Very much so. :o)

So ...

In short, this time ... very sorry to see your work gone, have to respect your wishes of course ... and on that note of wishes ...
