Haha, you are new to Caedes and already you made me laugh at the comment you left on "Oncorhynchus tschawytscha". I guess you are not that new...just lurking;-) Thank you for the comment on "Ladysmith Island" as well. I do have warmer images but you will have to wade through a pile to find them. Maybe you will tie those curtains back and we will see more of your nice comments;-)
Thanks Lisa for the very nice comments on my Amicalola Creek 2 image. If you take a close look, you can see the early signs of Fall. I'm glad that you like it. This was in open shade taken at iso 50, f11 and about 1/20 exposure. I also used a slow fill flash to lighten the shadows.

Hey Lisa .. thanks for your fun comments on my posting. You wrote "yuk - I can't believe I just said a snake was beautiful". Funny what pictures can make you say/do.

Thanks for your comments on "Marshall Point Lighthouse". The "danger" sign is a common lighthouse warning. During foggy conditions an excessively loud horn will sound without notice.

Thank you Lisa for your comments on "Lower Lewis River Falls - Collaberation" I know that Nathan and I are really pleased you like it.
Also thanks for the kind words on "All Alone".
Light is that magical phenomenon that allows us to enjoy the sights of the physical world. That property grants me the ability to interpret and record the beauties of which are so vital to me: my physical environment. Each of us sees and interprets the world a little differently and I am happy to share my interpretive vision of it with you.

Hello Lisa, THANK YOU so MUCH for the wonderful feedback you left on "Winging It". I do love the cormorant birds! Very graceful but skillful water birds.
thankyou for your comment on Moody, i agree with you, there is something about that image that just doesnt agree with me either. its alot more dramatic in some ways than most of my pictures, but something in the composition, and the tonal range just makes it feel a little too awkward. thanks for commenting!
Hello Lisa, nice to meet you ! It´s really great to receive such a kind comment all the way from Tasmania on one of my pictures ! ( "Horse on the heath") Thank you ! I´m very glad you liked the horse grazing at this wonderful place. I´ve loved this place since I was a kid and I visit it almost every summer. Near this place there is a grave from The Stone Age close to the beach of the Baltic Sea ! It´s such a calm and peaceful place !
Thanks again, Lisa / Arne
Hi Lisa. I'm glad you liked the tulip picture. I'm hoping to go tomorrow when the weather is to be better and more of the fields will be in bloom. Hopefully I can get a few nice pictures.
Hello Lisa.....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (STONEHENGE) and for your comment, it is very much appreciated.....By taking the scene during a sunrise I think it gives the picture a little bit of mystery...Thanks again....All the best...Mick.
I'm sorry if I haven't responded to alot of your comments. I have read them all, and I truly appreciate your feedback. Thank you so much for looking at my work, and I'll be sure to stop by yours too!!

Hi Lisa, Appreciate your stopping by "NASA Moon Shot" and leaving a comment. Can't say there was any "inspiration" in taking that shot ... But there was a good deal of "desperation" in posting it. LOL Thanks so much.
From the Mainland to the Apple isle.. Welcome to Caedes, may your days be filled with colour.. word of warning - its an addictive site...
