I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band,
I saw a needle that winked its eye.
But I think I will have seen everything
When I see an elephant fly.
MY GALLERY
O, hark, O, hear! how thin and clear,
And thinner, clearer, farther going!
O, sweet and far from cliff and scar
The horns of Elfland faintly blowing!
Blow, let us hear the purple glens replying,
Blow, bugle; answer, echoes, dying, dying, dying.
-Alfred Tennyson (1809-1892),

“In autumn when the trees are brown
The little leaves come tumbling down
They do not make the slightest sound
But lie so quietly on the ground
Until the wind comes puffing by
And blows them off towards the sky…”

Thanks Jacquie for your kind words on colourful concrete! I just dabble in different media - but acrylic is so satisfying - quick to dry and vibrant!
Thanks again - and talking of artists - you certainly are and no mistake!
Many thanks for your very nice comments on "Aphrodite". The image was a joy to make, and I'm glad that others take pleasure in it. Brightest blessings!
Thank you for your wonderful comment on "Cernnunos". Once I decided upon using the Gundestrup Cauldron image as the centerpiece, the only background that came to mind was Stonehenge. ;)
Thanks for the comment on "Red Peel", yeah it did look a little different even from the other birch trees around it. Nope, this was quite a ways away from the mattress.

Hi Jaquie, thanks for commenting on Breydon Water, it was taken at... shock horror.. great yarmouth! lol i work there a couple of days a week. i have been wanting to photograph it for a while and finally took a quick drive down at the weekend to have a go as the sun was so nice and the sky was so blue, i didnt have much time and i couldnt get to the bit i really wanted to go as it was too muddy , but i was pleased with this one, glad you liked it and nice to meet you.
Thanks Jacquie (re my starlings). We love the birds which we encourage to our garden. The starlings are such wonderful parents, we love them too (even though occasionally they used to come down the chimney - bummer!). Kate
