First of all I see you've just joined Caedes, so welcome! Secondly, thank you for your comment on Silver Lining, I appreciate it :)
I'm off to see your gallery now!

Hello Paul. Thanks for your very complimentary comment about my photo 'Blackfriars Bridge'. It was warmly received. I look forward to seeing more of your own work here on Caedes.
Hello again Paul. Once more, thank you for your generous comments - this time about my photo 'Westminster (b)'. I'm flabber-gasted! But also modestly pleased that you liked it! Have a good weekend.
Hi Paul, glad you liked my London Eye photo ...and yes I was trying to capture something different - the weather was dismal! lol! :) thanks for your comments!

Hi Paul, I`m very glad you liked 'Kildalton Cross'and many thanks for leaving a comment. I like you am still trying to figure things out. Beside the cross their is a ruined church with the graves of Knights who fought in the Crusades. Next time I`m in Islay I will go here again to try and get a better shot. I wish you well in your projects.
Hey Paul, thanks for stopping in at under the pier. You know, that really is the color of the water in the gulf of Mexico. I probably should have, but I didn't saturate it one bit.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Thanks for all of your comments on my pictures Paul! Yes, Russell is about 6 years older than Pumpkin! Anyways, I enjoy reading your comments! Thanks again.
A beginner with photography. I just got my Nikon D40 a few days ago and I am absolutely obsessed with it. Any comments on my pictures is well appreciated.
I am probably afraid that some spectator will not understand my photography - therefore I proceed to make it really less understandable by writing defensibly about it.

Hello Paul, glad you stopped in at "oh sunny day". What intrigued me with this shot was the design made up of the swirls of petals. Thanks for the warm comments.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Hey Paul. Glad you liked "Tribute to a Beautiful Dog II" and "Dragonfly Riding A Breeze" - thanks for stopping by and commenting. I really appreciate your kind words.
I'll be honest, even though I took a lot of photos of Scruff, each one came out great. My sister used treats and got him to do different poses for me, then I would take a picture.
I need your opinion please! I'm entering a photo competition. Please go to my gallery and tell me which one of these five you like the best?
A.) Up Close and Personal
B.) This Beetle Likes Pink
C.) This Beetle Likes Pink II
D.) Love Bugs
E.) One Thirsty Fly
If there is another image in my gallery you think I should consider, I'm open to suggestions.
hey, Paul. And thanks for dropping by and leaving your warm words on "mirror image." Much appreciated. I took the photo in late afternoon when the sun was low and the wind had died down so it has a peaceful look to it.
Paul, you were busy last night (well it was night here...) and I thank you so much for looking through my gallery. Yep, one wonky (love that word) horizon was posted before I discovered my leveling tool in iPhoto.... I should pull it or fix it I 'spose. Again, thanks for your kind words and I'm happy you like my photos. Stay in touch! ~Mary~
Hi Paul, thanks for your comments at Goose Lake. I really appreciate the fact you found an older post of my that you liked. The area of NY State where I shot that is beautiful all four seasons.

Hi Paul, glad you like 'on the banks of the Derwent'. My favourites are the latest pictures I have taken from the Lakes - it was hard to take a bad photograph with such fantastic scenery in every direction you look! thanks for your comments. Patti

Thanks for taking a stroll down The Greem Mile Paul I promise there isn't a chair waiting at the end for you,Even though you called me old...Can't spare my commode anyway..Richie.
Hi topcat! :) thanks for your comments and the reason my cloudy pictures still seem to look bright is because on the day I was at Ullswater it was part sun and part cloud, so even though there are clouds in the distance, the sun was shining overhead, which was ideal for capturing interesting light across the water and landscape - part in shade and part in sun! :) Also, I do play around with the curves to create an overall better light, which enhances the appearance of shade and light- you should try it. I think you might have a point in what you say about aiming the camera a bit higher. Thank´s for the tip, i will think about that another time :-). Thank you so much for the very kind words about "Evening Light". Greatly appreciated!
Thanks for looking at my 'skysraping' picture Paul. Interestingly I've come across a couple of other shots of the same two buildings on Caedes, I guess they are pretty photogenic!
