"Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many."- "I wish the Ring had never come to me.
I wish none of this had happened..." "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."-Gandalf
So happy to hear from you my friend. I see the winter season really got you in, lol. You are not afraid of the low temperature and cold and icy wind... Brave girl. Glad you decided to visit "winter river". I hope at least the red glow of the sun in the clouds will keep you warm...Thank you so much for your compliments dear friend. Can you believe we will have -30°C this weekend...
You really are a winter fan. Looking for some mood inspiring winter captures? I live on the plains that is the reason I mostly photograph some forests, marshes, swamps, rivers or lakes... everything around. Happy to know you appreciate these simple locations. Therefore I would like to thank you for your kind words on "murky place" and "evening shadows". These are popular landscapes on the central plains in the neighbourhood of Warsaw, Poland. I have to admit they look unbelievably beautiful once you are there at the right time of the day. I hope you feel like you have been there with me Rachel.
You know how to keep up my spirit. Your wonderful comment on "over the tower" gave me so much pleasure. It seems the Caedes community is already fed up with the ruin series of mine :(
I am so happy you give so much time and attention to my works. Would like to bear hug you warm-heartedly. Stay tuned
Isn't it interesting how everyone feels differently about things. That's what makes life so interesting. Some liked the frame of Charlotte Amalie and others didn't. Thanks for commenting.
My humble words of gratitude for your constant support for my nature shots. I would like to thank you for these warm-hearted lines on "smile trigger for Les". I hope it also brought a smile on your face. The warm vanilla cloud makes the road very inviting and I wish everyone to find a dreamt-of destination at its end...
I see you browse through my gallery from time to time Rachel. How nice of you. Yet another big "thank you" for the warm line you left on "sunset dusk". I see the sunsets really got you in. I guess it is the atmosphere of the moment and the explosion of colour which make us stop for a second to admire this everyday phenomenon.
So glad you also visited farewell and at sunset. You see each one can be completely different. And this is the reason why we never will be fed up with it I suppose.
Hi Rachel, thank you for comments on “Green and curious” - I really glad you like it. I don't have a clue what kind of plant it is. All I know its not a weed and is quiet popular in London. Thank you again and have a great day!
You are simply the greatest, lol. Another visit to my gallery and a couple more of your wonderful comments. I am so grateful for you words on spring. It seems the winter didn't say the final word yet... But from time to time we have some warmer days when it almost feels like spring.
And you found my "leaves falling down". Glad you liked it, despite the cloudy weather. Your generous comment much aprecited. And beware my dear friend, soon you may expect my visit....
Happy to hear from you. So glad you liked my composition with the romanitc couple in the background. You were right, it was snowing heavily but fortunately I was testing my tripod so could take the shot while holding an umbrella in one hand, lol.
Thanks for your nice comments on my picture Autumn Night. I'm glad you liked it, but I think the other version of it is better. I removed the telephone wires from the original picture, and the new one looks like this.
Thanks
Antti
What is up? Glad you visited the Valentine lion. My husband got it from me last year and I thought it was his (lions of course) five minutes of glory when posing for the Valentine shot, lol. Thank you for your comment.
Thank you so much for your comment. Today, years and years later this little "snapshot" brings back memories as if it were yesterday. I so hope those little ones grew up and now have little ones of their own and maybe those children learned to play. Thanks again.
Hi Rachel, many thanks for viewing "Veggies"! I appreciate your visit! The veggies look wet because I sprayed them with vegetable oil! I was hoping to see some reflectivness and did! You can see my house and a few trees if you look closely, LOL! It was a fun shot! Thank you for stopping! Sincerely, Marilyn
Your nice words you left me on "I am blue" and "Octopus tree" brought me so much pleasure. Thank you for your support which always keeps my sprit up. I have to tell you that I am already a bit fed up with winter. Longing for some colour and light... Luckily every two weeks we have at least one sunny day, lol.

Hi Rachel..thanks hon' for your sweet comment on "Winters Glow". It was snowing that morning really heavy and decided to snap this image, I did add a small touch of glow to give it that coloring in the sky and it turned out like that. I am pleased and flattered at your stop and that you liked it that much. Means alot ;)
Hugs,
Cheryl

So glad you came back to my fall captures. Wish to thank you for your nice words on "leaves falling down" and "fall days". I guess I am missing sun and vivid colours. Luckily, I had an opportunity to please my eyes with some picturesque views in the mountains not so long ago. There will be some nice photos...
Hi Rachel! Thanks so very much for your kind words on 'Sweet Indulgence', I sure do appreciate it and I'm very happy to hear you like it!
Thanks again!
Cindy
So good to hear from you. Sorry for my late reply to your georgeous comments on "in the mountains" and "Beskid Sadecki mountains". I was sick and unfortunately not able to sit down in front of my computer for a few days. My winter holiday was so refreshing... It gave me much pleasure to be in the mountains and to enjoy picturesque views. Of course I took the opportunity to take loads of shots. Still have many to come...
Willing to play hide and seek? How great. I wonder where are we all gonna hide, so many people playing and only three trees... Now is your turn. You're counting. Don't cheat. I think I will hide under the snowcover... I bet noone finds me before the thaws come, lol.
Thanks for commenting on "Bay." I don't personally think this is the best picture in my gallery, but you'll have to judge that for yourself. (I am 100% a city boy).

Thanks for your comments on big old oak. It is at Orton Plantation, 13 miles south of Wilmington. You should go there for the azelia festival. I missed it by one week and the flowers were not at their peak. Thanks again.
Your warm lines make my heart soar. Thank you so much for your compliments on dreamy crocus. I hope it will serve you well as a desktop wallpaper. Stay tuned
I am very proud and happy that you liked 'waiting for a sunbeam' and said it in such a charming and elegant manner. The photo was taken from my bedroom which overlooks the west. Sometimes I don't have to leave my apartment - there is so much to be admired...
So good to hear from you again. Fresh greens are all around me and all these smells - I feel dizzy... Too many colors have burst during the last few days. I am overwhelmed by the spring vitality. It seems it is appealing to you as well. Thank you for your comment on "with a spring blossing".

Thankyou for your comment on "Chipper's Hidin'", If you would like, take a look at my gallery (click on the *wicked grin* below) and you can see a few other pictures i have of her kin.
Hi Rachel, You'd have liked to try the Darby cakes! (you commented on my Makings of Darby Cakes). I didn't think they'd be all that good, considering no sugar and few ingredients, but the fact that they were cooked over the fire added something special. Cheers, Quiet
Rachel my dear friend, I hope you won't stop smiling cause my "smiling faces" work very hard to cheer everybody up. Thank you so much for your summery visit and generous lines. The fields are full of flowers of different kind at this time of the year, so you can expect some more captures.
Rachel, my friend,
I can't say how much I appreciate your visit to enjoy "morning glitter". In return for your generous words please anjoy the poem by JulieAnne (I found it in the net, it is wonderful).
"A rose blooms in the sunlight.
Within a million dancing rays,
In the softest morning spotlight,
As dawn brings you this day.
But of the misty morning shadows,
Or the dampest clouded rain,
It cannot subdue the beauty,
Of loves melodious refrain.
With petals barely open,
With tiny drops of dew,
The bloom of full rose petals,
Will bloom inside of you.
And as the petals open,
And as sunrise lights the way,
And as beauty is still dawning,
True love will find a way".
Oodles of thanks for your flaming nice words about "dark territory". Glad it set your eyes a blaze!! The place would be a good setting for a film or a book - it looks so mysterious and unspoilt, don't you think.
A million thanks for taking a stroll with me and checking out the Dunajec castle, Rachel. Frankly speaking it is the weather which made the photo so attractive. It contributed immensely to the atmosphere of the place. After all it seems castles and ruins is one my favourite categories.
