Thank you for that filter suggestion on "Summer by the Gazebo". It does look really neat, I agree. I look forward to seeing some of your pictures soon!
Hi Suzanne , thx for the comment on framed rose , you are quite right about the rose ; i only put it there as an example to see how the frame worked ( i even blew it up 300% ).
Hello! Thanks a lot for your comment on "Dream bench". I appreciate it very much, and I may go back and darken the image some- you're right, it is pretty bright... thanks again!

Hello Suzanne...Thankyou for kind comments on (ROYAL DEESIDE).it is very much appreciated...it was quite overcast when I captured the shot and late in the afternoon...I go to Scotland for my holidays every year as its so beautiful especially up in the highlands,,,All the best....Mick.
Hello Suzanne,
thanks for the compliment on my photo's.
They become clear and crisp, because I have a nice camera (Canon 350D), but more because I now how to operate it manually and do the image processing on the PC afterwards. For example, I always shoot with the lowest possible contrast setting in the camera, so I can manipulate the dark and highlighted areas better afterward on the PC. If you see those photo's direct from the camera, they look very flat and colorless. But then I do all the image processing work that would otherwise happen in the camera myself and this give the "special effects".
Thanks for the interest!
Paul

Hello Suzanne, I expect you’re right about “Memories of Youth” being the only Cicada shell on the site. You write an interesting commentary, Thank you.

Hello Suzanne! I'm really glad you stopped by to view and comment on 'Dayenu' and I'm especially thrilled that you got the title!! I had been doing some studying and came across a Seder, Jewish Passover song and I really loved the meaning of the word 'just' as it fit with being appreciative of God's profuse blessings...so...I thought that would fit. Anyhoo...I'm really glad you like the picture and thank you so much for the kind words!

Rain Drop Flower was some potted flowers that I bought for my wife on Valentines Day. She planted them in the yard and I went out in the rain to take this photo. Thanks Suzanne for the lovely comments. I'm glad that you like it.

Hey Suzanne!! I'm glad you like my Cherry Blossom pictures!!!
I wanted a nice blue sky in the background, but it was an overcast day and they are far away from where I live. Also, the flowers hang down so I had to shoot upwards to see inside the blooms.
Thanks for your comments!
Hi again ;-)
Thanks for your comment on 'Cherry Blossoms 4'!! I agree...'Cherry Blossoms 3' is my favorite too. Apparently a lot of people like 'Cherry Blossoms 1', because of all the hits I got! Thanks again for your comments :)
Hello! Thanks so much for your comments on "Dusty"- I said "carrot?" and snapped the picture quick because he always does that when there's talk about food :-)
I'm Honoured Suzanne that you should add me to your friends list
I hope my photos and works do entertain and please you :)
I return the complement and say that I'm enjoying the few photos in your gallery especially the latter two where you very much play with the light and shooting into the sun is a brave thing to do
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your works

"'Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in a pretty
and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming,
"WOW! What a ride!"'
Thank you Suzanne for your comments about “Gorgeous Grebe”. It’s quite similar in size and habit to your Pied-Billed Grebe, which I haven’t seen for myself… yet. Maybe one day :-)
Hi Suzanne, glad you enjoyed my photo "Another red belly" Found that one in my archives. Thank you for the comment. I used my Canon 30D with a Canon 70mm-200mm f/4, L series lens.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on 'Arizona Gold' really appreciate your thoughts! Im all about simple! Gives me less opportunity to screw up the shot! =) Thanks again!
I just stumbled on your wonderful gallery. Not sure how I missed it but I will be adding some of your pics to my favorites, so thank you!! For backgrounds at work, I enjoy pics of little delicate perching birds in perfect focus; so peaceful. Added you as a friend so I'll know when you post more. Do not feel you have to reciprocate, tho. I rarely post. cheers, Quiet
