Hello Lori, I’m pleased you like “Gap Creek Falls” It really is worth the hike to visit these falls. Thanks for your comments about it, they are truly appreciated.
Hi Lori, many thanks for your comments on "Lilly Puzzle"! You didn't try to work it out, did you? LOL! It's pretty difficult you know, even when you are a math expert! LOL! Always thanks to you Lori for your attention to my work! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi again Lori, and I thank you very much this time for "Precious Pinks"! I discovered this hanging beauty in a friend's garden! The point of view was afforded me by the plant hanging over my head!! It was an easy shot and I do love the colors, and I'll bet you could never guess why, Ha! Sorry I don't know the it's name, but it is surely is in the vine family of plants! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks Lori for your comment on Zigzags.. It is greatly appreciated.. This was one of those fractals I wasn't sure if I was going to post, because it was so different, but I have had it on my desktop several times, and liked the simple complexity of it.. Glad you liked it too..
Good morning Lori
Many thanks for your appreciative comments on "Babinda Creek 05". There is a special beauty in the rainforests, and we are very fortunate that some have paths prepared for walking so that people may enjoy with relative safety and yet not disturb the environment. Should you ever visit Australia, I would encourage a couple of weeks to do an exploration of, not just the rainforests but all of the magnificent beauty of far north Queensland - photos and paintings only barely give a hint.
Enjoy your day

Hello Lori! Thanks for the nice comments on my Crawfordville Critters 6 photo. These little posers were very co-operative subjects and even seemed to smile for the camera. I'm glad that you like it.

Thanks Lori, for your comment on Project 1.. I have had that in the files for over a month, trying to decide if I should post it or not.. Very pleased you liked it.. Much appreciated..
Hi Lori, many thanks for your comments on "Dynamic Pink"! There really isn't anything special about the flower except for the intense pink color! LOL! Thanks anyway Lori! I apprecaite it very much! Sincerely, Marilyn
thanks for commenting on Masquerade.
Altough it did not get a very high rating, it is one of my personal favourites. I have redesigned this image in the mean time and had printed it from the original on a resolution of 3500x2500 pix and i't looks incredible now.
Glad you liked it too.
People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

Hi Lori, thanks loads for liking "Beauty by the House"!! I am always glad when you sanction my work, you are pretty good you know and you are a specialist at scoring! LOL! Again, I am glad we went to the same school for math! Again LOL! Thanks Lori! I hope you are well and happy! Sincerely, Marilyn
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Hi Lori, many thanks for your always nice comments, this time on "A Glad Morning"! Now remember, if you change schools (math), I will make the same change too, ok? LOL! Thanks again Lori, Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Lori, thank you so much for your lovely words on "Lovely on the Deck"! The lighting when I took these shots was perfect, an overcast day, and so I took many! I don't like repeating so often as I do, but the colors in this case are so vividly coral, I just love them! I bought these flowers as apposed to taking ramdom shots in different places! The roses are in full bloom right now and one more day passes and I will have lost them! The weather won't cooperate today! Oh well...........right? (tear drop)! Teasing! Sincerely, Marilyn

I noticed the Sunflowers growing in a neighborhood yard. Sunday morning I made a special trip to photograph Sunflower4 in the early morning sunshine. I'm very pleased with the results and glad that you agree. Thanks Lori for the beautiful comments.

Hi Lori, many thanks for your comments on "Busy Bees"! I was having a little fun with Russ who has in the past enjoyed shooting beautiful flowers with bees! I thought I would tease him a little and let him know that I had moved way beyond him!! This really isn't my territory you know. In fact once I move out of the flower garden, I am lost! LOL! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Lori, thanks loads for liking "Heavenly Peach"! Also, and certainly not least your great vote, you can be on my team anytime! (smiling)! Sincerely, Marilyn

Thanks Lori.. Glad you liked Misty Morning.. It is a very quiet town and more so that early in the morning.... We even have a gravel street.. I took the dog out for his morning walk and remembered my camera.. Your comment is truly appreciated,..
That's ok if Marilynjane comes back with the hive. I'll already done one with me traped inside. Sunflower3 is another in a series of Sunflower images that was taken in the neighborhood. Thanks Lori for the nice comments. I'm glad that you like it.

Thanks for the nice comment on Wheel Of Time.. I am slowly learning how to use the programs I have, to produce what I want.. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't..
Hi, Lori...I'm behind on thank yous, but thanks so much for your very nice comments on "Sunburst." You've commented on a few other images that I don't think I expressed my appreciation for...been kinda busy lately, but please know that I really value all of your comments!

Thanks Lori for your comment on Side By Side.. Much apprecaited.. Considering how hot and dry it's been I was very surprised to find such lovely roses..
Your quote from Dorothea Lange is compelling. I feel the same way when looking at a pile of rocks over and over and suddenly a great agate pops into my field of awareness.. As if it were there all along and I could not perceive it without visualization! Thanks for the comment on my unusual hybrid sunflower! ~Ouimon~ Paul W
Hi Lori, many thanks to you for your high reagards for "Red Fantasy"! Are you telling me that your scoring is now based on the 'new math'? Oh my, I hope I can figure it out! LOL! At any rate, thanks to you my friend! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks Lori.. Glad you liked Anne and Susan.. My brother in law kept trying to pull Anne out.. I wouldn't let him.. They are among my favorite wildflowers..
Thanks Lori for your comments on "Out For a Stroll". You shold have seen him. He shot straight up in the air when he heard the shutter release and was gone from sight in less than 5 seconds. My friend and I had quite a laugh over the look on his face. Kind of like: How in the Hell did you sneak up on me, a wily coyote.
There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

Now you have seen 2 of my sunflowers, and I appreciate your input.. Yes that bright red one looks like it is just floating there "Glowing".. I hope it brightened up your day even more! Paul W ~Ouimon~

Hi again Lori, so sorry I thanked you a second time for "Red Fantasy"! That must mean that subconsciously I am twice as happy, right? I am so far behind in everything and yet I found the time to thank you twice!! LOL! When you get to be my age, I guess anything can happen and does!!! LOL! Have a good evening Lori, Sincerely, Marilyn
Lori :-)
You enjoyed "First Lily"... Thank you so much for the comment. When I saw it, I knew as well that it was a gem. I am happy to share it, and have others that appreciate these things to see them. Thanks to you and to all in this community.. Caedes Rocks, does it not? ~Ouimon~ Paul W

Hi Lori, thanks loads for your comments on "Joyful"! It is funny when you try to save me from getting confused! I wll continue to be in the state of confusion for the rest of my life, I do believe, but thanks from trying to save me nice friend!!!! LOL, LOL! Pretty cute, I thought! Thanks again Lori, Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Lori, many thanks for your kind words on "The Children's Garden"! I was going to delete it, but decided to wait a few days to see what might happen! I do wish they looked more healthy, but....................! Thanks again, Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks Lori.. Glad you liked Across The Lake.. It is a tiny man made lake in the middle of farm lands.. Mom and I found it by accident.. It is so pretty, right beside a narrow gravel road between the cornfields....
Good morning Lori
Thanks for stopping by "Happy rock, Almaden" and for your appreciative comments. It was the face painted on the rock that attracted my attention when I drove past on the way further west. On the way back, had just time to snap this photo and get back in the car before a big road train could roar past and layer me in dust from the road :)
Enjoy your day

Thank you for commenting on my illustrations. I have left them for several months, to come back and find that they have been well received! I appreciate the positive comments, and I'm glad you like my style. It was really my husband's idea to post these in the first place.
Hi Lori, many thanks to you for your high regards for "Greeting the Sun"! I always love to see and read you comments! About the math, it would take advanced calculus to figure your math out, but I know it is always great big numbers and what fun!! Thanks again and have the best day ever! Sincerely, Marilyn
Good morning Lori
Thank you for your appreciation on "East Palmerstone 01". Well, you are not so far behind on posting - I only uploaded that one last night <grinning> Yes, it was a day with heavy cloud cover and, yes, it did rain later. Am uploading a picture showing what is in that valley tonight, taken from about 200 metres further up the road.
Enjoy your day

Hi Lori, thanks for your comments on "Angel White"! WOW, 'the chaos therory'? I will have to go to my 'science room' for some much needed research on this one, at Ieast I understand the word Calculus! This theory is vague in my mind, 'Smartie'! I will fix you once I have done some reading, you just wait!! LOL! Thanks for taking your much needed time to comment on my images! I wasn't sure about this one, it looked rather dingy to me, I might delete it, but not before writing and thanking you, Russ and Mimi! Ha! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Lori, and many thanks to you for liking "The Fairest of them All"! About this math thing, I am going back to school and you have made it a mandated thing!! I can't keep up with you and yours! Are you laughing? You may be sorry when I am able to offer you something you don't understand and then the battle is on! LOL! Humor is fun!! Have a great day and get all your packing done!! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi again Lori, thanks for your comments on "Virgin White"! These were taken at MSU Gardens, and in which case I am sure they supply the missing water, but still over-all things are pretty dry. These did look especially healthy and my luck with the lightning was perfect! Thanks again Lori. Have fun!!!!! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Lori, many thanks to you for your sweet words on "Evening Roses"! You are always so positive with your comments, how refreshing! Have the best evening ever! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks for coming back again to leave that cute comment on “Small Tortoiseshell”.
I appreciate you taking the time and very glad you liked it.

Good morning Lori
First, an apology for taking so long to reply to your comments on "East Palmerstone 02". Am falling way behind thanks to starting in a new job recently.
My thanks for your apppreciation. Ah, if I could I would add to the image the sense of awe and the feeling of joy that the country exudes here and allow everyone to enjoy that also - perhaps science will one day find a way to do this.
Enjoy your day

And good morning again, Lori :)
For both "Downstream, Daintree River, Daintree Village" and for "Meandering". Many thanks for your enjoyment and comments.
I doubt that those birds in the Daintree will turn into dinner in a hurry - they will be very used to the environment and will know when to scarper <chuckling> - just us silly humans who go dipping in other creatures dinner table - 's why I don't swim in the ocean either :)
Every time we drive past that piece of land in "Meandering", my wife looks at me, grins and says "There's your piece of land." It is strange, this attraction I have for this one spot on the face of the planet; perhaps one day it will go on sale and I may be in a position to buy it <sigh>
Enjoy your day
