welcome to caedes ... I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work :)
thanks for adding me as a friend
re PS and resizing and cropping
you can crop in the main window with the crop tool
but you can also crop under the image/canvas-size much more accurately
remember this cuts the picture if your new size is smaller
image sizing ... rescales
so you get a squashing or stretching if you dont scale the same in both directions (simple tick box keeps things in the same proportion)
i tend to work at full resolution till the very last moment
then i image-size keeping the same proportions
if my pic is wider than 1600x1200 i rescale to 1600 on the wide which usually leaves me with a pic that needs some borders top and bottom (see my pics a lot are like that) so i canvas-size by adding enough to make it 1200 tall
then i fill in the new spaces with black or a suitable colour
somehow ive grown to like that letter box look but it doesnt always work so try both way ... crop from the sides and fill the full 1600x1200
Thks so much Wintermix for commenting on Sunrise. What you wrote really touched me about Mother telling you kids to "Rise And Shine". That would have made a good title for that composition. Wished I would have thought of it. Hope I hear from you again.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.
